If you follow my account you probably don’t know this but these are my ocs Yamilet and Eddie. I have shared them here a couple times but they are not featured in my poorly explained oc lore video or really anywhere, so I want to do a little introduction on their lore here:

So Eddie and Yamilet are secondary characters in my story. In my story there is an organized crime group that operates from a restaurant. Yamilet works there.

Eddie doesn’t work in the restaurant and is more of a secondary member to the group. He owns and runs a body shop, he helps out the group by doing things such as changing license plates, fixing up cars and even giving them some.

By the time my oc story story starts they are already in an established relationship (I’m pretty sure all my characters that are couple are). They’re your stereotypical happy healthy heterosexual couple except they’re involved in organized crime.

Happy Valentines Day! “Love is in the air” they say. Whom you ask? Well, either the romantics or the capitalists and possibly the romantic capitalists.

Ocs features are (image one, left to right) Anastagio and Marcel (image two, left to right) Piero and Virginia. (Top image) Eddie and Yamilet.

Katz and Ambrose are both vice detectives. Their job is to basically take down the Nespoli crime organisation. Katz is, aloof and socially inept. Ambrose is a dirty cop working with the Nespoli crime family, so their work and personal relationship are kind of complicated.

Everybody be nice to me. It’s my first time living too. I know it’s not perfect but nobody is perfect that’s why pencils have erasers ❤️

Pt. 2. I'm contemplating posting a pt. 3 because like if I want to hypothetically make some sort of pilot or anything with my ocs! don't want to spoil everything that happens in these silly videos. But also these videos are a good way for me to introduce my character and my story and get people actually interested in them (shout out to the two followers I gained from pt.1 on TikTok). But also I love sharing my ocs so l am in a predicament. Not a predicament that I will lose sleep over but still a predicament.

I love my ocs. I love them so much it only took me over four years to sit down and write down their lore instead of just keeping it in my head.

Seamus is Canice’s older brother. They both grew up in Ireland before moving to America in adulthood, desperately. Seamus moved in his early twenties, wanting adventure. Unfortunately life is hard for him and he eventually gets involved in organized crime. Seamus never told anyone where he was going, so once he left Canice never heard from him.

Canice on the other hand moved a few years after Seamus. He hopes to start his “own” life, starting fresh is America with his newspaper company. He has a lot of stuff going for him and he doesn’t think much of Seamus, having had a bit of a rocky relationship when they were kids since Seamus was a bit of a troubled rebel, which reflected badly on both brothers in school and just in their community.

After a few years in America, they run into each other again. Seamus is happy to see his younger brother, not really giving their past relationship much thought whereas Canice is conflicted. On one hand, Seamus is his brother but on the other, he is still the same, only the stakes are higher (from being a former troubled kid to now being involved in organized crime). However since they are older and the situation different Canice still cares for his older brother, but he’s still very conflicted as he doesn’t understand why Seamus acts the way he does.

Hey divas so I wanted to experiment with some brushes and I drew one of my girls. Her name is Yamilet but I might change that. Part of me really likes the name but another part feels like I could find something that feels more like her, you know?

Anyways she’s a preformer at the club in my oc lore. She sings and dances with Virginia. I would say that they both are equally as talented when it comes to preforming however Yamilet is definitely the better employee. Maybe I’ll draw them interacting maybe I won’t.

The mob Anastagio is involved in pays Ambrose to cover up/protect them from law enforcement. In a way they are coworkers. However, their relationship changes after finding out they both like men. (Note this story takes place in the 1940s)

Their relationship starts as just an outlet for physical wants however over time Anatsgio starts caring for Ambrose. Ambrose on the other hand kind of represses his feelings towards Anastagio due to his own internationalized homophobia

Pivoting from that they do keep their situation a secret. Simply because they do know it could damage their status and reputation if this got out.

Having to keep it a secret doesn’t really affect Anastagio’s feelings on it.

Anastagio understands why they have to keep it a secret, and tries not to think deeply about it, because he worries about how the people he cares about will think of him. Besides, he almost always is at risk of something due to his criminal connections. However he is very aware that if this got out it could damage his status and the security he currently has.

Whereas Ambrose hates the idea of having a weakness or something that could be used against him, which fuels his internalised homophobia. He hates not having power, which is why he got involved with the mob in the first place: he likes the idea of them needing him to protect them while having the “power” to destroy them.

Obviously he does not have as much control as he thinks he does, and Anastagio is aware of this.
