Thought the entry was well thought out and straightforward and made me chuckle. As much as I love psychedelic creatures, Chad’s entry stuck out more cohesive.
Although Natum’s visuals are breathtaking, I was getting a bit lost in the environment and story. I think Locket’s had better establishing shots and pacing, keeping the plot consistent.
Simment I thoroughly enjoyed and was a great read from beginning to end both visually and writing wise. Definitely the best in terms of coloring out of a lot of the comics!
Lovely work for such a limited time span! Great composition, flow and pacing from start to finish. I was a bit confused by the other entry, so this stood out stronger to me.
I like high energy stories and this definitely was something that made me pick it over Janitor. Also more introspection into both the character’s lore which won me over.
Snowball’s Chance - Mimi
I think the style won for me. It’s concise and I feel like the stronger of the two visually and story wise. Reminds me of old Flash Toons.
Babysit the Antichrist— Rachel
I think being able to see Rachel’s tender side made this stand out. She’s not just a crazy drunk but has a soft side. I feel the other entry didn't really explore much in that way.
I think I enjoyed this one more since it was easier to follow through. Plus the other entry I could barely read the text, so it was a struggle to figure out what way going on.
Stands out the more cohesive story of the two with a solid beginning, middle and end. I was a bit confused what was happening in Illwill’s story.
I really liked the atmosphere of this entry. Felt more like a labyrinth in hell while the other entry it was hard to tell where they were. The other entry, I thought the Labyrinth was just a background pattern and took me a while to realize it wasn't.
Feast of the damned - Saki
I think this filled the prompt better, and definitely the stronger of the two. I also just liked the shading and linework more.
Succubus Makeover - 17ling
Felt the story was more straightforward and got the point. I was confused a bit by Maple’s entry and wasn’t sure what was going on.
Make the Devil Cry - Ocho
Felt they had a lot of fun with the page and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love watching the antics the little guy gets up to.
Very cute art style and definitely wins out in terms of story. I especially loved how detailed the beast was down to the glowing veins on the body.
Hell’s Bells - Kabloouie
Definitely more visually cohesive, really liked the style. I felt the text for both were hard to read but Kabloouie’s writing quirk grew on me.
