1) the Werewolf Moment of the clocks changing and not keeping track of it and being someone normally like pretty on top of this whole thing suddenly being caught off guard by oh GOD it's happening NOW and it's happening HERE and being reminded of the fact that it normally sucks sooo bad but when it creeps up on you this thing that is usually as predictable as clockwork it's a whole different fear. reminder you can do all the 'right' things like. hello. getting a cage inside your home. you can start dating again and go to parent's evening etc etc but. all of this. all you've done is distract yourself.

2) is this the closest annie has ever been to george while he's transforming. back when she asked to watch it was very much like okay yeah i've seen it now research concluded that was actually harrowing! and now she is forced to not just See it again but be deeply Part of it and contend with this half of a thing infront of her and balance that okay this is a creature that really wants to just kill right now but also this is my Friend and he needs to know i'm here. the way she holds him and reaches through all this bloodthirst to assure him GEORGE that they will make him safer.

3) genuinely haunting smile that this half george does when he sees Prey. man this is terrifying. i am sooooo deeply fascinated most of all in werewolfism by this inbetween state and this is one of the most (not the only!!) prolonged moments of this in the show. so hooked on the idea of how much you are able to fight the transformation like yeah you can't stop it but what kind of desperation does it take to avoid it like that. fighting and fighting it but it's still creeping in in moments like this where even though he managed to run to the place that's been home to george the monster, the non-human person, he's almost not strong enough to hold himself back from attacking humans while still looking mostly human.
