Daniel imagined Duchess sitting in front of him, and almost laughed out loud at the sheer ludicrosity of it. “I think she’ll kill someone before she sees my face.” He kept smiling as he listened to Duke. “That does sound stupid, I bet Holmes is loving it.” Daniel rubbed his forehead and leaned forward. “Good, I’m glad you intend to stay.” 

“Anything to help a pretty lady like you.”

“You really don’t understand where I was heading, do you? I don’t mean an actual hard day..I’m saying that it must be tough for you to handle not doing anything that you consider important. But, yea, I guess you could also take it as sarcasm since you’re the only person I know that would have a problem with spare time.”

“I don’t really like sarcasm, no. And I take it as sarcasm because your old man is the most sarcastic person I know and I’m sure he transmitted his virus to you.”

“Shut up,” Harry said, looking over at Duke. A smile tugged at the corners of his own lips, and he rolled his eyes. “Olivia and I have been dating for less than an year, Duke. What kind of question is that?” He chuckled. The car came to life as Harry turned the key in the ignition, soon taking them towards the hospital.

“Less than a year, like half a year?” Duke had a hard time remembering when these two started seeing each other, and frankly, he didn’t think the question of time was relevant, to be fair. “I don’t know, it’s silly. Rebecca wouldn’t agree to it anyways.”

“Ohh, the llama dude. I seen that – wow. You have a very dark view on kid’s movies. I personally think Disney has come a long way from how they were before.”

“I mean, there’s been improvement socially and ethnically speaking, but the stories are boring, easy. Enough with the triumph of love. Life is not a fairy tail and they should tell kids about real stuff.”

“That’s not the reason I’m single. And cynical? How am I cynical?”

“Suggesting I had a hard day when I procrastinated? Oh wait, were you being sarcastic again. God damn it.”

“Emperor’s groove or something, his name was Kuzco tho, and he got changed into a llama? Anyways, I saw Brave and Big Hero 6 and I didn’t give a flying fuck about them. Especially the latter. Those students were dreadful clichés and I didn’t really care for their lives, it’s like they want kids to be dumb and dumber.”
