Familiar Feelings And High Ceilings

Canon Beach, OR The beach was cold but the tide pools were alive and kicking. Also, we are the serape squad.

Just a quick shot of my friends finally arriving to the camp site after an afternoon of hiking (uphill) carrying our weight in backpacks. That night was the hardest I've ever slept.

The last stop of our trip was in Seattle, WA. I met up with one of my second cousins whom I hadn't seen in almost 14 years. He was very hospitable and even spent our last two days showing us around the extraordinary town of Seattle. Although just between us....Portland is way better.

While we were staying in Whistler, we couldn't help but ride the peak to peak gondola up in the mountains. Although I might have gotten a little motion sick for a few moments (nothing some ginger ale couldn't handle), this was well worth the time and money! Whistler is such a cool town.

More views from our hike. Every step was worthy of a post card. I can't believe I witnessed this with my own eyes. It seems so surreal looking back at pictures.
