Just some generic announcements from your lone wolf build leader! The Summer Solstice event vendors and scavenger hunt will only be open for another 3 days! The convention center closes after June 28th. Also, June's build contest submission deadline was pushed until the 30th in hopes of getting more submissions. Looking forward, you can expect both small maintenence projects, as well as brand new sprawling cities under my lead. Unfortunately however, we've lost a builder! Builder applications are still open! We'll be looking for anyone willing to work with our team to enrich Le Monde and its surrounding worlds (yes, worlds ;) ) with eye candy for our community. To that point, I'd like to make some tangental comments. Our server is a safe space for everyone, no matter your lifestyle. In today's especially dramatic and political reality, getting to take a break and enter into a society that simply accepts is a huge breath of fresh air. This community brings me back some of the hope that I've recently lost (and it's not just me or you all, Minecraft itself has actually been shown to reduce hopelessness in refugee children). We must strive to maintain the open and accepting nature of our server. I'd like to see us observing a 0 tolerance policy for those who might comment or behave in ways that discriminate or demean our players. You don't need to be a moderator to protect our community from hate. And, as always, please report shady or cruel suspects on the forums and in discord so our lovely mods can judge them for what they are. Thank you everyone!
