Neon lights flared,illuminating the wide puddles,there was a loud splash as two children ran down the pavement,a group of tall figures pursuing them

“Halt humans!” a figure yelled at the top of their lungs,the children ran faster as a blast of energy flew over their heads

“OMGOMGOMG” a girl said,her auburn hair covering her eyes and a frilly blueberry dress,weighing her down,”we’re goners-uhhh sorry but whats your name again?”

The other kid sighed “I told you 5 times! I’m not reminding you again!”

“Geez no need to get so riled up,back home us queens were all buds and helped a sista out”

“Do I look like a girl to you!?”

The girl shrugs in response,she couldn’t see very well

‘Chara, what are you doing in there!?’ the other kid thought to themself ‘I don’t have time for this’ a voice in the child’s head rings “And why not?” they yelled,the girl looked at the other “who are you talking to?”

“Myself!”

“You’re weird,y’know that?”

“Do you want my help or not?”

The girl nods,speeding ahead to a barbed wire fence,she stops herself just in time,her face went pale and she stared at the fence and then turned to the approaching figures “It’s over,turn yourself in!” a figure said

“Oh no it isn’t!” the human replied, ‘quick chara,the weapon’

‘On it!’ the voice echoed

A glowing energy manifested within the child’s hand,with two quick swipes,a gaping hole had opened in the fence,but a body of water laid below

“Get down there.” the kid said

“No! You could buy a house with this dre-” the child pushed the girl down and into the water,coating her dress in mud,the child leapt down and anyone nearby would see water spraying onto their windows.

“Looks like your safe,good thing there was a giant mattress the help!” they said

“Yeah...matress.” girl said,strained

The child looked down at the girl,realising they were sitting on her "uhhhhh"

"Get off me already!"

The child hopped off and helps the girl up

"Where do we go now? since you know everything about this place" she asked,ringing water out of her clothes

"We could….go to my house! I know a shortcut!" They took the girl by the hand and ran into a field of grass
