Trees And Skis

I have such a hard time figuring out where I belong or feel at home. When I’m in Montana I miss Oregon and my people here. I feel like I’m missing out on my family. My cousins having a baby, and I won’t be here to watch her grow up. My sisters starting high school in the fall, and I won’t be there to see her grow up. My little cousin didn’t even recognize me when I saw him, And I haven’t seen my uncle in months. My other sister is living on the streets and I haven’t seen her in over 2 years. I feel guilty being in Montana because I feel like I took myself away from my family that I often praise for being so close knit. I miss them constantly and I wish I could see them more

But in Montana I have developed more into my own person than I ever did in Oregon. It’s become a part of me that Has shaped me to become this person I actually like. It’s taught me MANY lessons and shown me love and true friendship. When I’m in Oregon I miss Montana and when I’m in Montana I miss Oregon.
