healing is a lot of hard work but you need to invest time and energy into getting help and finding healthy ways to cope with your emotions. things will not change unless you do something about it. i know it’s hard and it will be uncomfortable but I promise you it’s worth it.

I need someone to genuinely tell me this.

I’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything. It won’t make certain people suddenly love, understand & respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. Sometimes it’s better to say nothing & detach myself from them.
