Lore drop on a bit on my au:
So most of you probably know that in my au Singapore has a crush on brunei ever since they've met (fell i love at first sight typa shii) and i don't think i've told this but Brunei has to get married by the age of 35 years old or not she'll have to get married to man who only wants to get married with to use her for her wealth and status(the group knows about this). Obviously Brunei doesn't want that and her only hope is in Singapore. So she tries hinting on why she keeps rejecting him (so does Malaysia and Indonesia) if you don't know why, well it's basically because Brunei can't date anyone outside of her religion.
After many failed confessions, Brunei finally reaches the age of 35 in which she has no other choice but to marry that man. During the wedding Singapore wanted to feel i guess happy for her but couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt, sadness and even something bad that's going to happen in her marriage. He tries to be happy but obviously couldn't so most of the time he gets comforted by the rest especially Malaysia.
After a few months of Brunei getting married, she shows up less in group gatherings and whenever she does she looks drained and more quiet. More months passed and the group hadn't seen Brunei in a very long time. So Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Timor-leste pay her a visit. Once they were at the door they rang the door bell. No answer. Rang again. Nothing. So Indonesia tried opening the door and it creaked open which made all of them suspicious. Once all of them were inside they were hit with a foul smell. Like something had died. As they investigated more while calling out Brunei's name they finally found her. Dead in the bedroom. They called the police, her family and the group. It turns out the man had murdered her after Brunei had found out he was cheating on her and was spending a lot of her money. The man was never to be found.
During her funeral, obviously everyone was tearing up, sobbing, wailing and grieving upon her death. And during this time Brunei's father was handing out some letters to only a few people which included Singapore. It was a letter from Brunei that she had written before her death.(I'll post this up soon) Something, something yeah uhm
After her funeral, everyone went their own separate ways trying to recover. Singapore had decided to take a stroll in the city so he did and obviously it's crowded. While he was trying to forget what was in the letter, he had heard someone calling out to him. The voice sounded so familiar to him so he started looking around and there he saw who it was.
