A beautiful, treacherous man that youâll hate to love and love to hate til your very last breath which will be spent in that section of v neck that gets lower than necessary in all fanart. I love Shimazaki in all his smug cat bastard glory and poor attempts at socializing w/ kids he may or may not have yeeted into concrete.
We donât get any information about Shimazaki but Zach took him by hand and ran off into the sunset and I love absolutely every minute of it. The story he gave really works to give backing to Shimaâs motives ( or lack there of ), how he turned out in life and the way he thinks, and just in general itâs well thought out and believable, makes my heart hurt, and gives me a headache all at once.Â
His actual characterization is just to die for. I love reading his threads, whether Shimaâs trying his best, doing his worst, or being proactive- all of itâs fun to see and adds great detail to a guy we donât get to see a lot of. Heâs pretty much perfect and I adore every aspect of him, good or bad.
Zachâs my man even if we donât talk a lot, but the times we have were funâ heâs great and if youâre not already following you should definitely go for it.
for every đ„ i get, iâll recommend a blog i love

    Well, isnât that surprising! Shimazaki is, for once, actually somewhat caught off guard. His number? Just for a moment he thinks that this Sonic might be flirting with him, most people that ask for his number are, and he half considers reciprocating just for the fun of it. But he doesnât, he can read the otherâs movements, the way he holds himself, hears his breathing and his heartbeat, and itâs all calm, even; without the fast beating heart, the slightly shaking breaths that heâs come to associate with those that make a move on him.
    âOh?â But he can still tease. âNext I suppose youâll try to sweep me off my feet.â
    The phone is taken out of Sonicâs hand. Shimazaki fumbles, just for a moment, to find the voice to speech feature and ducks his head close to speak his name and his number into the contact information. When finished, he passes it back to the other. âJust text me, I will add you then.â
    Itâs a little odd, a little foreign. Making friends, or whatever this is. To think only minutes before he may have very well attacked this man if things went easily awry. At least he would have been a formidable opponent. Maybe. Shimazaki may poke him a bit in the future, see what makes him tic. A friendly battle in the future isnât out of the question, right? Heâs been looking for some entertainment.
    âThis isnât really how I expected this encounter to go, admittedly.â
expirivitalisâ:
 â..good heavens.â  Sugimoto had been fairly excited when she noticed a visitor in her alley. Sheâd been feeling lonely, per usual, and could use some company. Maybe it was Josuke, or even Rohan, come to show her more of his illustrations!   Instead, a strange man entered the alley. That was normal, obviously. People got lost in the alley all the time, it was nothing new. What WAS new was the aura coming off of him- maybe she was just being paranoid, but she felt like she could see some sort of⊠energy about him. Whatever it was, it was rather frightening, and though she didnât want to seem rude⊠she took a step back. She felt like she shouldnât be SEEING this.  Clearing her throat, she offered a smile. âAre you lost, sir?â Sugimoto calls out to him, trying to avoid seeming offput.Â
    Nothing in particular really drew him to this alley. To be honest, he only stepped inside to have a smoke so he could avoid the dirty looks from any passersby. Not that he necessarily cared, he just didnât want to deal with it at the moment. And of course Shimazaki isnât entirely unaware of another presence with him, not too far off, but he ignores it for now.
    He fishes his pack out of his jacket pocket; itâs nearly full, mostly because he doesnât actually smoke too much. One cigarette is stuck between his lips and lit behind his hand, and he takes a long drag. It tastes like shit, it always does.
    âHm?â Shimazaki turns his head towards the source of the voice. He canât see whoever it is, but he can pick up their aura. Not as powerful as his own, but it also doesnât seem to be...
    Alive?
    Huh.
    âNo, not at all,â he replies casually. Alleys were easy for him to navigate. He used to spend a lot of time in them. âAre you?â
:3
every time someone points out how attractive s.himazaki is in their replies to me i'm just like thank you. thank you. thank you. you're just so right

i love shimazaki but god, he is a big tol piece of shit
tall dark and handsome babey
irisfellâ:
â⊠Ah, sorry if I intruded in on something.â Jun canât help the hostility in his tone. Each word is spoken carefully, a slight rigidness to his voice. He surely isnât seeing things, is he ⊠?
@blindhavoc
    âHm? No, we were just finishing up.â Fingers twitch, and the invisible vise grip he had on the wallet-snatcher releases, sending the man scrambling away, far away. Shimazaki slips one hand back into his pocket as he bends over, using the other to grab his wallet where it fell to the ground.
    The hostility and suspicion in the otherâs voice isnât lost on him, but he doesnât think too much of it. Still, he canât help but comment while smiling out of one corner of his mouth, âDonât sound so troubled.â
futsumaâ:
   His grip faltered at the confirmation. Water sloshed inside his pitcher, gradually stilling. The office plant he cared for had accepted enough to drink; even the dish it sat above was almost overflowing with muddied liquid. But he kept pouring.Â
   What he might have done, or didnât do made him feel as though somebody had injected his veins with ice water. He seldom prided his tendency to guess correctly during instances like these. Sometimes, being wrong blocked off shame that he deserved.Â
   Reigen furrowed his brows when reminded of the advice he received upon waking. Silence subsisted because his open mouth failed to produce any sound, so he ended up closing itâonly to have his jaw drop again.Â
   âI kissed you.âÂ
   He could have walked backwards out of the room as if doing so would conveniently erase the mortification he cushioned in that moment. He could have laughed, not knowing how else to react. He could have lost consciousness from delayed humiliation alone.Â
   And then he registered how close they were, the strong grip around his wrist, exposed, unmarked skin beneath defined collarbones, courtesy of the V-neck shirt Shimazaki often seemed to wear. Obscenely handsome features he routinely stole glances at throughout the work day contorted with unknown affliction, forcing his heart to stutter.Â
   The follow-up request further aggravated his blush. Reigen stood stock-still, stammering uselessly in an attempt to communicate. He stared hard at the doorway, hesitating briefly. This was beyond unprofessional. But knowing that Shimazaki wanted the same clipped his self-discipline, and he brought their lips together again, closing the distance between them.Â
    Like most things, he senses Reigen is about to move towards him before he actually does and yet it-- it still surprises him, somehow. There is a minute tightening of his hand around Reigenâs wrist as the gap between them closes, like heâs bracing himself for the worst even though he already knows whatâs coming is far from that. Maybe he should think itâs bad, maybe he should stop this now. Reigen is his boss now, for Christâs sake. But Shimazaki, despite the way he carried himself, despite how politely he often spoke, never cared much for professionalism.
    His hand releases Reigenâs wrist, but slides down to take the pitcher out of his grasp and practically drop it to the floor with a clatter. Itâs a miracle it doesnât tip over and spill, but even if it did Shimazaki hardly thinks heâd care. No, heâs too focused on their proximity, on how Reigen has to tilt his head up just a little to meet Shimazakiâs lips from his slightly shorter stature, how they fit together a little awkwardly at first because this is... well, new. Kissing wasnât new to Shimazaki, of course not, but kissing Reigen --- properly kissing him, sober --- was... something heâd have to get used to, if given the chance.
    Their lips break away for a few moments, Shimazakiâs hand finding and cradling Reigenâs cheek.
    âI didnât think you were the type of man to be taken by one of your employees, Reigen,â and the use of the other manâs last name in this context feels strange, but even he knows there are still boundaries---ones heâs not entirely sure if heâs allowed to cross yet. Shimazaki kisses him again, brief, laughing breathlessly against his lips. âNot that I mind. Itâs a bit exciting, hm?â
    But he gives Reigen no chance to reply, capturing his lips in another kiss, his thumb stroking along his cheekbone, his other hand landing on his waist. It slides around to the small of Reigenâs back, applying pressure to squeeze him just a little bit closer.
@blindhavoc
ccrownesâ:
   â You think so ? â Teru tilted his head with a hum, shifting to settle a hand at his waist. No, no he doesnât believe he has any reason to feel like he does. Calm, at ease, and collectedâ but of course heâs not a fool. Heâs on guard, but thatâs to be expected with a turn of events like so, but thereâs no reason to be high-strung.Â
   â There isnât any reason to act wary, right ? You said it yourself, you learned the lesson. Repeating it isnât necessary, we already know the outcome. Itâs best to just move on, if you have hard feelings. â
    âHard feelings?â He canât help but echo, reaching up to scratch at his jaw in thought. Were there any hard feelings? Truthfully, he canât really tell. The boyâs presence doesnât stoke as much anger or bitterness as Shimazaki would have expected it to. Maybe because enough time has passed for the wound to... mostly heal. Or maybe he really is moving on, growing, or however the hell they put it. âNo, I donât think there are any.â
    Shimazakiâs hand returns to his pocket. He tilts his chin up, humming, then gives a breathy laugh. âAnd what about you?â

shimazakis from some of my favorite screencaps⊠love this teleporting bastard..
@ccrownes, continued from here.
    It is surprising, isnât it? For them both, certainly. What else is a surprise is that the child isnât attempting to attack him, he doesnât sense any move to. To say Shimazaki didnât find this one to be impressive would be a lie, maybe there was some respect, so thatâs why he remains amicable here and now. There is wariness just below the surface, but heâs not too worried about the boy he faces now, just the one who he could call on at any moment should he make one wrong move.
    âYes, of course,â he replies, maybe a little too dismissively. Even though he hasnât really done much to actually properly redeem himself. Not like heâs going to grovel. âI have to say, I expected a much different reaction from you.â
