As someone who IS neurodivergent and was genuinely diagnosed as a kid, it deeply disturbs me how the pro-abortionist movement often uses that, disabilities, and etc to justify abortion being a thing. It disturbs me even more so how I was groomed into legit supporting it as a child.
That is straight up eugenics. To say some lives aren't worth living or would be better off not being here. That ideology implies that if it were up to YOU, people like me or people in worse conditions would not exist. Don't look at me, I'm just drawing the only logical conclusion here. "Oh but the quality of life-" Okay, so?
If we're really gonna go with quality of life as an argument, then this opens up so many other potholes because where do you draw the line with 'quality of life'? Where even is it? All life has a bad quality to it because its just life. So where do you draw the line? Even better question---what makes YOU a good candidate to even come to such a conclusion?
Because if we were to actually implement this thinking into everyday life handling such a topic, then the line of what gets classified as 'quality of life' is gonna get shorter and shorter throughout the years until it's just plain eugenics---which is what you guys are arguing for whether you intend it or not.
We call Thanos evil for thinking this way, but people are constantly using that exact mindset to justify abortion.
