There was a tightness in his throat that he couldn’t quite clear, but his sister’s hand on his shoulder, her presence. He leaned over and pressed himself against her neck for the briefest of seconds before he nodded. “Some water, please.” His voice was hoarse, his body still shaking with aftershocks, but most all of it had passed now. “I’m sorry, my dear.” He murmured, “I’m sorry for waking you.” But God, how relieved he was that she had came.

Immediately she pours him a glass of water before gently rubbing his back. “Don’t apologize, Charles. I’m glad that I was here, that I could at least try to help. The last thing I would want is for you to be alone after a moment like that.” Raven kisses his forehead gently before tucking her feet up to sit more comfortably. “Do you want to talk about it? What happened?”

“Willy Wonka?” Kurt turned around to meet the eyes of the other blue mutant, his brows furrowed in confusing. “What is a Willy Wonka? And why would gum make you blue?”

Raven realizes that trying to explain Willy Wonka was going to make her sound like a lunatic so she goes for a more helpful approach. “It’s a movie and we should watch it. Unless you have a real intense hatred for candy.”

The sword goes into the back of the robot’s neck. There’s a burst of sparks and a loud groaning sounds that makes Kurt flinch. Then suddenly it falls, and Kurt grabs Raven’s arm, teleporting them both safely out of the way.
