Chris Bernstorf is a spoken word poet originating from Taylor, MI. He feels equally at home in the middle of a metal show or a living room and has developed a reputation for breaking down the barriers between himself and his audience, inviting everyone in the room into an experience, one he hopes is wrought with honesty, passion, and love.

Half Tongue is a queer three piece comprised of Tiffany Hannay on vocals and guitar, Duncan Tarr on bass, and Dakota Peterson on drums. Originating in Lansing, Michigan, Half Tongue has grunge influences and uses their music to help advocate for victims of abuse and fight for inclusivity.

Boy Rex is made up of Jack M. Senff and his friends. The project originated in Traverse City and is currently signed to the record label Skeletal Lightning. Boy Rex’s latest release, Live! From the Far Away, serves as a direct response to the albums that came before and a look ahead to the future.

Narco Debut is an alternative rock band from Metro Detroit. Since 2012, the group has created music that outlines the exploration for internal consonance. They followed their first EP from 2013 with Garden Dreams in 2016. Their debut full-length, recorded at New Jersey’s Barbershop Studios with producer Kevin Dye, is expected to release later this year.

Volunteer shifts typically consist of assisting BLED FEST staff with clean-up and tear-down at the Hartland Performing Arts Center post-festival. As a thank you, volunteers are refunded the full advance price of their ticket ($35.00 cash) upon completion of their shift.
