i’ve finished editing all seven chapters of redecorate (hooray!). i know it took FOREVER but i’m autistic and i tend to get super excited over writing and then burn myself out completely :,) it’s a lesson of pacing myself i fear

i’m currently in the middle of editing the first (and so far the only) chapter of deathwish, and while i’m editing innerworks, false confidence and summertime i’m trying to write up to chapter fifteen of each (including redecorate) so i won’t burn myself out when i start posting on schedule again

i AM going to post a chapter of each once i’ve moved on from editing them because y’all have been so incredibly kind and patient with me and you deserve nice things so i promise it won’t take forever

i don’t think they’ll all be at the same time. i’m currently on chapter 8-9 of redecorate, chapter five of innerworks, chapter three of false confidence, chapter two of summertime and chapter two of deathwish

so they’ll come as i progress. i will continue updating y’all and i appreciate you all sooo much for following along :,)

so unfortunately i’m not back to posting on schedule yet but things are coming along

i’m finishing up the final edits to chapter seven of redecorate (posted last month). i’ve still got innerworks, false confidence snd summertime to go :,)

fortunately (in the context of editing) none of them have many chapters as of current. once i’m done with innerworks i’ll have two more to go and then i can start posting on schedule again💪

i also got too excited over a new idea, wrote a whole new fic in one night and burnt myself the fuck out

posted it yesterday anyway

so i’ll stay dead to the world for now and ow my head hurts

but here’s more content while you wait, hopefully it’ll make up for it

thank you for being so patient! and sorry if this is a bit clunky, there’s this fuckass heatwave in the uk at the moment and i feel like the sun is running at me full speed with a carving knife

i’m still not doing so hot so i’m taking a small break from writing out new chapters to edit the fics i have up already starting with redecorate

they’re all edited already but i keep noticing small typos or inconsistencies and if i’m going to put something out in the world, especially if people enjoy it? we can’t have that

i can’t say they’ll ever be perfect as nobody is especially when it comes to writing but the least i can do is make sure that my works are readable

i’m halfway through editing chapter three of redecorate at the moment and i’ll be moving onto innerworks after as they’re my two main fics at the moment

i do have so much love for false confidence and summertime already but i started redecorate and innerworks first and they have the most chapters at the moment so it’s only fair to put those first for the people waiting on them

i will continue the schedule of each fic when i’ve finished editing them. hopefully bi monthly updates to redecorate instead of monthly? we’ll see

innerworks will continue to have a new chapter posted every saturday, redecorate will continue monthly (or begin a bi monthly schedule), false confidence and summertime will stay unscheduled and updated whenever the fuck until i finish either of the first two

i’m probably overthinking all of this but i like to provide good content :,)

i also wanted to say a huge thank you for all the support!! the comments literally make my week :( you guys are so unimaginably sweet

that’s me for now, i’ll still keep you updated and i’d like to reiterate that there is no chance in fuck of any of my works being abandoned. they’re all meant to be very long fics, i’m just autistic and like to burn myself out when i get too excited to write

if anyone has any ideas that they’d like to see in the fics that i’m writing (or even future ones) pleaseeeeee let me know. if you notice anything that doesn’t quite add up and annoys you, inconsistencies that piss you off, or even if you have any questions, i’d love to hear them too

i will let you know when chapters will start to be posted again, and a small break should buy me some time to write some more too

one today and one on the 15th because this is chapter six and i have severe ocd that does not like the number six and it’s been driving me round the bend

i might post chapter seven earlier but we’ll see if i can hold out :,)

exciting news! there’s a sanders sides fic in the works✨

this is a long term project. in this fic, thomas has DID (dissociative identity disorder). so a lot of themes surrounding identity, trauma (warnings will be in the tags and at the start of each chapter as always) found family, and of course, the sides

i’m diagnosed with DID myself, and whats better representation than something that comes directly from the source?

disclaimer: thomas and friends have explicitly stated that sanders sides is NOT a representation of DID, and that’s not what i’m trying to imply. this fic is meant to be written by someone with DID for better representation in the world around me. sometimes you just have to do that yourself
