      Amusement flickers to anger as fingers curl into fists, his jaw tight. but the anger is gone in a flash ---- masked over once again as he bounces on his heels and points a menacing finger at the werewolf. “ you gonna fuckin’ make me, then ? ” he sounds gleeful; taunting as he leans forward, almost close enough to touch. all the emotions displayed in such a short time span would give anyone whiplash. there’s almost no trace of anger left as he bounces around bandit, circling him in a way. blank is clearly trying to rile him up ---- trying to push him to see just how far he can go. not everyone can handle being around blank and this would either prove bandit’s ability in dealing with him or prove his fault. it is only a matter of time.

        “ he was annoying me, ” he says, as if that’s somehow supposed to make it okay. blank turns his head to look at the man in question before looking back at bandit and shrugging carelessly. “ it isn’t like he’s dead. he’ll be fine. ” there may be some side effects but... they don’t need to talk about those.

       “ doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of a good deed ? ” he replies finally, his eyes flickering back and forth ----- in annoyance ? possibly. out of boredom ? definitely. “ you know, it wouldn’t kill you to tell me what you’re planning. i find it kind of rude that you won’t, actually. ” blank points an accusing finger, eyes formed into slits. “ i’m bored and i want to play, too. ”

        “ i thought demons were supposed to be cleaner... ” amusement sparks in his eyes then, the familiar hazel shifting to black and back again in an instant. he was probably going to have too much fun with this.

       he clears his throat, eyeing her carefully, as if anticipating her reaction. “ i’m just... gonna go wash off. we’ll talk about this later. ” it’s the most mature he’s sounded in ---- well, probably ever, as blank usually doesn’t take things so seriously. either way, he doesn’t wait for a further response and turns to head towards the hose. he would rinse off outside and then burn the clothes to decimate any remaining evidence.

       “ oh, but buddy... i can cheat death. and you wanna know why ? ” he looks bored at first, but there’s a gleeful look in his eye that doesn’t quite match his expression. “ i’m not even alive ---- how can i die when i’ve never lived ? ” he motions kind of stiffly towards his body. “ this body isn’t mine. i’m a passenger on a free ride and sometimes... sometimes, i get to take the wheel. ”

      “ oh, don’t act so surprised, ” blank scoffs, arms folded across his chest. “ as if anyone needs to let me in. i’m not a vampire. i don’t need invited. ” that does beg the question though... what is blank exactly ? an enigma, perhaps... a demon, maybe... a mystery, mostly.

     Blank shakes his head. it’s not that he thinks her ideas are bad... he just thinks they can do a little better. “ we need to do something else... burning still leaves evidence and throwing the body in the lake will just get her found quicker. ” he hums in consideration, bouncing on his heels. “ okay so ---- we could actually use fire to our advantage. why don’t we... burn the body and then take the remains and mix it with like.. cement ? and any bone fragments left behind we can just put underneath the mixture. she’ll never be found. ”

      “ ---- what ? ” an empty laugh is heard as he shakes his head. blank seems to be having trouble processing what’s just been asked of him. he blinks slowly, fingers curling together into tight fists. “ don’t be ridiculous. i don’t love anything or anyone. it’s impossible for me to. ” is it though ? is it really impossible ?

      The look blank gives the werewolf is short of annoyance... but it’s more amusement than anything else ---- a mockery. he places his head in his hands, chin propped up as he glances at bandit through half-lidded eyes. “ since when have you regretted anything ? you’ve let me shoot you before. is this really any different ? ”
