Sour Candy Illustration and friends present a food-centric gallery show: The King of Breakfast: America's Morning Meal “The cow was involved, the chicken was dedicated, but the pig… the pig was committed!” The King of Breakfast is an exploration of the cultural, symbolic, and personal meanings behind the content and rituals of the American breakfast. It is also a celebration of the gift givers of the breakfast hour: the cow, the chicken and, most importantly, the pig. For it is the pig, who makes the greatest sacrifice for the sake of the morning meal.
