              “You want to know if this is even worth your time and effort?” Lars knew she wasn’t asking out of pure curiosity, the assassin didn’t operate that way, “What do you think will happen if Heihachi gets his hands on him? I’d rather prevent that; we were two of the only people who knew of his whereabouts, it shouldn’t take us long to find him.”

                                                               not a flinch to her cold stunning features,    nor so much as a single movement made aside from the slight shift in position as she leans slightly more to the right.    it fazes the woman little how he read her well,    actually preferring that those who worked with her knew the kind of woman they were dealing with.    Nina cared little and had no time for childish sentiments or man’s loyalty                   unless involving any sort of promised payment for her work.    this mission,    however,    came as more of a personal vendetta to the assassin.

The fact that he was dating Valentine wouldn’t make her go easy on him, not in the least. Seeing that she was now in a combative stance, she made it clear she was serious about fighting him.

He wouldn’t be leaving unscathed, “I’m not going to fight you Lili.” Sending the teen home with bruises would be a great way to get approval from the family.

Lili made her move anyway, her boot swinging in for his head. Lars steeled his arms up against the side of his face, her foot colliding with his blocking forearm. She was kicking hard too, like she was trying to knock his head clean off his shoulders.

“Look, as much as you want to beat me to a pulp, you’re not getting the same out of me!” Lars took a few steps away from the attacking girl, “Why do this when you can spend that energy on actually getting your father’s assets back??”

———  needless to day,    this was becoming a   very   disappointing fight.    the man continues to displease her with his lack of action and she would not have any of it.    he only further irritates her when he tells her how she should be using her energy  ———  like he was in any position to be telling her what to do.

             Well that wasn’t what he was expecting to come out of her mouth first thing.

“Ha, and here I thought that I’ll kill you thing was supposed to be a cute joke.” Lars lifted his arms in an animated shrug, “You’re not seriously going to try, are you?”

Everyone thought that Jin had done the job himself by falling into that abyss, but he apparently clawed his way out again, somehow. Part of him knew that wouldn’t be enough to kill him…

———  indifference is expressed with the school girl before,    a sigh leaving her painted pink lips when finally coming to a conclusion about what she saw in front of her.    she didn’t see it,    she just   didn’t.    she’d constantly come up in conversation but the Monegasque princess failed to see what held such fascination.    judging by what’s in front of her anyways.
