My Batwoman/Kate Kane reading order
I've been a pretty big fan of Batwoman/Kate Kane for quite awhile and I thought I'd make a reading order for her! Kate is genuinely one of the coolest member within the Batfamily, both design wise and just as a character in general.
For me I still consider her Detective Comics stories by Rucka to be her best story followed by the first 25 issues(including the 2012 issue #0) of her New 52 run by JH Williams III and W. Haden Blackman before they left due to creative differences with DC(obligatory fuck you Dan Didio) which caused the later half of the run to take abit of a nosedive, I have mixed thoughts on the Rebirth run as I think it's quite alright although it isn't exactly at the same level as Rucka's or William's. Currently, I am quite enjoying her current run as Rucka returned back to Kate and so far(imo) he hasn't let me down yet. Anyway, I hope this reading order helps anyone who's interested in Kate as she's one of my fav DC character!

"dysfonctionnelle" by axl cendres: very personnal fav in the sense that i heavily relate to the main character but still i would recommend it to anyone)
"juste une fois pour essayer" by élodie garnier: sorry i couldn't stand this one but mostly because i'm more of a "romance/queerness as part of the story" than a "romance/queerness being the whole story" person, also i think garnier wrote some more wlw romances if that's your kick
"bien sûr que les poissons ont froid" by fanny ruwet: still in the "didn't enjoy but someone else might" category, i LOVE goofy books but this one just didn't work for me (je me suis souvenu.e après avoir lu que j'étais déjà tombé.e sur un extrait de sketch de ruwet et purée son humour est vraiment pas le mien) + tbh the ending was underwhelming to me, some solid bisexual goofyness tho
"le bleu est une couleur chaude" by jul' marot: haven’t read it yet but feels mandatory to mention it if we're talking lesbian french books
"l'absence de l'auteur" by miriam vieitez aka @girafeduvexin: still in the "haven't read yet but must mention" category, oui on parle peut-être de l'absence de l'auteur mais la présence de l'autrice sur tumblr m'a forcé.e à l'ajouter à ma PAL et à vous dire de faire pareil
(bonus as this one is more about mental illness and transgenderism but is so good i was just waiting for an excuse to recommend) "je vis dans une maison qui n'existe pas" by laurène marx: a monologue both available as a book and in its audio version, and always as a masterpiece that got me crying like a baby
