Wealth Creation
Here are some helpful links designed to make the process of wealth creation more approachable.
1. https://nav.al/rich
This website is Naval Ravikant's podcast archive. You could call it a blog, too, because every podcast on there is transcribed and posted as a standalone post. Naval is a billionaire tech investor who, in my opinion, genuinely wants to help the common citizen. His opinions have greatly influenced my life, and his talks on wealth creation are, in my mind, very intelligently explained. I think that if you were to follow some of his suggestions, you would see a significant change in your life.
2. https://www.betterment.com/
Betterment is an investment app that has a key feature: it uses an algorithm that has determined the most effective investment strategy. Through the use of machine learning, data was accumulated on the stock market's performance since its conception. This data was aggregated in order to best understand which diversification strategies worked the most effectively.
Betterment, after about 5 years of use, has given me 52.74% return on my investments... which, to me, seems kind of insane, IF YOU FACTOR INTO ACCOUNT HOW LITTLE WORK WAS INVOLVED ON MY END. I believe that higher rates of return can be found through manual investing (such as on Robinhood or using a brokerage's service), but to me, the lack of work involved in receiving these returns + the actual returns OUTWEIGHS the merits of the traditional trading route. Robots are the future, man!
3. https://www.codecademy.com
Codecademy, surprisingly, makes coding fun. Coding, more commonly known as "programming," is a valuable skill that can make your life easier and/or improve the lives of others. Programming, or engineering in general, is a highly lucrative skill, as well, and what this means is that it can get you a job that pays a lot of money. Coding is not the easiest of all the skills to learn, but it is the one that I am most familiar with, and from what I can tell, codecademy gives you the SOFTEST LANDING POSSIBLE in its approach to teaching. Please give it a shot, and let me know what you think.
----------- THANK YOU! Hopefully this post has been of some help to you, and rest assured, this is only the first of many. Good luck on your quest to increase your personal wealth!
