Now, I'm not a Democrat. I've never voted in my life for the Democratic Party and I'll never vote for the Democratic Party. It's racist and it's capitalist to the core. This is understood. We continued to eat and sleep and take drugs and continue life just like always. When Julian Bond was elected, when we were young in SNCC in Atlanta Georgia and they refused to seat him because his position against the war in Vietnam, the Africans in that area, his congressional district, continued life just as—we'd not been having any [...] mayors and we'd been having life and even with the mayors now, the quality of life has not improved at all. So, I've known the vote is never—what? you vote for someone once in four years and that's your political responsibility? That's the height of bourgeois propaganda, making the people politically irresponsible, thinking their responsibility is limited to a one-day vote. Well, politics is every day of the—every minute, you got to be aware of what's going on, not voting on one day. So, the vote has never meant anything.
