At one point we were one.

Everything was about you.

Everything was about me.

Your hands would be all over me.

Suffocated in one another’s skin.

And the morning after was like being melted into one another, I couldn’t get you off of me. As simple as the touch of your fingertips as long as you could touch me.

And I couldn’t get enough of your smell that always made me feel like home

As cheesy as it sounds, now those memories are just heartbreaking.

Because you are no longer you.

I see you. I hear you. I feel you.

But you are not there.

And neither am I.

We are now two ghost.

Questioning at what time in the life of our love, died?

I am jaded.

You are jaded.

He broke me.

She broke you.

And now we blindly try to come home to a place that has since long ago been vacant. But it has been demolished and destroyed. There is no more materials to build new. We have used them all.

And so now.. I know it’s time to let go but letting you go feels like letting the last piece I have of me die slowly.

And that just doesn’t sound too good to me either.

So with all of this, we promised we would love each other forever. And I think we kept that. But I guess that never meant we couldn’t do that without being in love anymore.
