“Vacation is when you’re not working. If you get hurt you’re not working. Boom. Instant vacation.” Tex was really starting to enter the sleepy zone. “Give me that blanket.” She said, gesturing to the one on the arm of the couch.

“I’m not saying the project was good, I’m just saying I was really productive.” She yawned. “And I’m saving my vacation days for if I get shot or something.” She turned onto her side and curled up. Prime napping position.

“I don’t need breaks. During the project I trained and worked 16 hours a day, and I was fine.” She definitely wasn’t fine, but instead of choosing to unpack that she threw away the whole suitcase. “I’m working way less now, so I definitely have no excuse to take breaks.” She was starting to get sleepy.

“I don’t need breaks.” She relaxed as he ran his fingers through her hair. “I’m better than that.” A faint, pleased smile crept onto her face. She couldn’t possibly take a nap here on the couch. There was so much to do and so little time. She was just too busy to take time for herself, but if she just happened to fall asleep with her head in Church’s lap it would just be an accident, it wasn’t being lazy or taking a break.
