Menagerie of Bullshit

i know i'm just rehashing something that people have been saying about movies and video games for decades but it's crazy how a ttrpg having sex moves is widely seen as bizarre and automatically gets it described as "niche" while a ttrpg having rules for how to kill other people is so normal that players and pundits will treat their absence as notable in and of itself

my specialty is liking the same movies that 50-year-old dads like but in a way that would instantly send those dads into cardiac arrest if they heard me talk about them

PORCELAIN?!

so in the victoria & Albert museum's huge ceramics gallery which people never seem to know about, there was a temporary exhibition by a 4th generation porcelain worker from dehua & some of her work v which particularly took me out were these books - books which looked as if they had hand pressed paper pages with ragged edges, being tugged open and ruffled by the breeze. they looked like a film still. they looked light as air. there was a drapery of fine silk fluttering as well. ALL PORCELAIN.

i got a weed vape that's pink and it has three fucking tanks one with indica one with sativa and one with hybrid all with dumb as shit names like slimer and pink z and shit and you turn it on and it says "choose your player" with options to smoke the indica, the sativa, or the hybrid, or a combination of any two, or all three, at the same fucking time. no matter how short you rip it for you blow a fat cloud and the effect it has is like making you a little unsteady but weirdly totally clearheaded for the first two seconds of hitting it and then the third makes the room spin and makes you vomit everything inside you and then black out. there's a picture of an exploding head on the little display, right next to the blinker counter. you're supposed to hit a blinker on this thing.
