2016.12.12 『BISTROオリジナルピザ続々登場』

Again, sorry for the inactivity on this blog!

As many of you are aware, the show this blog’s GIFs are from, SMAPxSMAP, will be ending this month. The reason for this being the upcoming disbandment of the titular group SMAP on December 31. The situation is very complicated as it is not clear whether this was fully the will of the group or if it is a result of executive decisions within their agency.

If you want to know more about the issue, you can read about it here in English and here in Japanese.

However, the end of SMAPxSMAP will not be the end of BistroGIFs. This blog has covered only a small fraction of the dishes SMAP has made over the 20 years their show has been airing, so there is still a ton of material that I can work from. Although watching SMAPxSMAP has become a bittersweet task, I want to do my part to help keep the memory of this great show and legendary group alive.

I’ll get back to making Bistro GIFs soon, and thanks for being patient with me.
