Btw, Nathan in the comics is a ghost (not creepy at all), and I wanted to do some spooky things with him.

So in this AU, he is probably either a Visitor or someone who genuinely doesn't know what HAPPENED to him and got lucky that he was not killed on the spot.

I am glad I could give him THE unsettling vibe I wanted in this style, even tho I was asking myself if I should've make him mouthless or more neutral🤔 but giving him a creepy smile is so weird and not him that it kinda match with it so I am glad.

I don't think it will go to my Ghost!Illumi series bcs of the context of the fanart so...Visitor!Illumi? Maybe? Idk, I think he would be a visitor sometimes, tbh.

My Ghost!Illumi is now with another, a revenant entity named Hisoka who was killed under some mysterious circumstances and came back to haunt, play and kill the livings, when he wants. It's not even in a vengeful manner, he just can do that. He takes the form of a jester who can actually interact with the livings and talk with them normally, and in the human eyes seems like a normal person. A weird, pale and eery person but a person nonetheless.

I love how I did them, not gonna lie, they are oddly cute together🥹🥹.

I know it's ooc but I like to think that even in some creepy and eery situations, they still have this special relationship and are actually lovely dovely together, as creepy entities.

In canon, Murata is another vessel of the spirit of the Daikenja, and has all the experience and knowledge of his past lives, that's why I picture him as a haunted doll in my horror series. But Doll!Murata is a shell that was made to contain the curse of it's own existence, all of his past lives, all his experiences, all the knowledge, all the horror that the knowledge lead him, like all the past shells that was created before him. That's why in my first art, the broken part has eyes that look directly at whoever looks at them. But here, it's like a "What if" situation when the curse broke completly free, trying to find another shell to live within. Doll!Murata is a haunted doll that tries to live. To feel. To be...human again.
