The Thyroid is responsible for the thymus gland in the chest. The Thymus is responsible for the center below in the abdomen.

If your energy reaches here in the heart chakra, then you will stop aging. The three wise men are the Pineal, Thalamus and Pituitary.

In the middle of the brain and surrounded by the convolutions is the third ventricle, a vaulted chamber of initiation. Around it sit three kings, three great centers of life and power —the pituitary body, the pineal gland, and the optic thalamus. In this chamber also is a small gritty seed which is undoubtedly connected with the king’s coffer in the Great Pyramid. The third ventricle is supposed to be the seat of the soul, and the aura radiating from the heads of saints and sages is said to represent the golden glow pouring from this third ventricle.

The Thalamus opens up and gives stimulus to the midbrain, according to the reptilian brain and the overseer. The lower cerebellum.

Joao Ruas’ “Knots” at Thinkspace Projects.

Opening on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at Thinkspace Projects in Los Angeles, California is the outstanding solo exhibition from Joao Ruas entitled, “Knots.”

Ruas combines ancient references with the contemporary, to create timeless visual mythologies. A gifted figurative artist, his works explore the universal themes of transition, power, strength, transformation and loss with an empathetic tenor. His haunting works are inspired by the age-old function of myth as an antiquated system of attributing meaning to natural and human chaos. Ruas’ beautifully executed lines, love of detail, and quasi-Gothic aesthetic, recall the late 19th century golden age of illustration, and its propensity for lush hand-drawn worlds. Fascinated by the enigmatic mystery of lore and symbols, and drawn to the use of recurring contrasts, Ruas punctuates his work with a system of evasive signs. His pieces always tend to reveal the spectral traces of graphite in the end product, a choice that discloses both the presence of the artist and the ghostliness of his universe.

The exhibition will be on view until January 4th, 2020 and should not be missed if you’re in the area.
