Been listening to Laufey’s new album and it’s made me rather inspired and sad so kind of helpful for Asoryuu…

Fairly large doodle dump because it’s been awhile… technically most of these were made yesterday so if you can’t tell I’ve been struggling with artists block recently which is not fun…

I’m working on a new animatic so of course I had to redesign everyone’s modern outfits since it’s been a number of months. I have two versions mainly just because a couple characters are going to have two outfits throughout the animatic. Technically Sholmes does as well but it’s just going to be his usual detective getup so I didn’t want to make unnecessary work for myself with adding that outfit. (I could have done that for Ryuu too but… his dgs2 outfit feels like less work…) Made a couple changes to the outfits since last time and I think I like them better now, Mikotoba is now included so that’s fun.

Random color palette challenges (Not so much for Kazuma though…) plus the added challenge of random gel pen colors for highlights and outlines. I have a lot of fun doing these… also I’ve been getting back into digital art since I have a TGAA animatic storyboarded in my sketchbook so I’m working on the digital references for when I make the actual animatic. I’m having a fun time and it’s making me more motivated, I’m also planning a new fic soon!

Back again with the doodle dumps however this time we’ve included color. I tried for pulling random markers with a number of colors ranging from 1-29 so it had interesting results when I had to figure out how to use 22 colors. I really like how Ryuu looks in the first image.

sorry it’s been so long I’ve been insanely unmotivated recently but I’m working on changing that…

now I just have to figure out which of my many other fan-fiction ideas I should write next…

I know Van Zieks wasn’t there at the end but I felt like he should be there for my commemorative drawing though I have a love-hate relationship with him

I’ve been feeling like I’ve been drawing Kazuma too much so I decided to get more into yuri

Christmas drawings!! Plus some bonus Rei/Susarei drawings because of course…

I got six new markers from Black Friday shopping so I tried limited color palettes again and I had a lot of fun with this. The colors worked surprisingly well together in an odd way.

I don’t know why but recently I have been infatuated with the idea of Sholmes in a Christmas themed dress and I must expand upon this idea in the coming days
