Drawtober Prompt two!

Okt. 6 - 10 : 𝔐𝔦𝔡𝔫𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 𝔇𝔢𝔩𝔦𝔳𝔢𝔯𝔶

So, I'll try Drawtober this year again. The Prompts are nice and the pacing is much better; Five days for a thing to draw is much more reasonable for me. 

So Prompt No 1: 𝕲𝖆𝖗𝖉𝖊𝖓 𝖔𝖋 𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈 

So the last attack I did for ArtFight were all Star Trek themed - can't wait for next year's round! (Maybe with one or two characters more)

So here's

Elias Rubescens

He, takes the rank of an Ensign working as a xenobiologist / xenbotanist onboard a science vessel. 

When graduated he was assigned to martian colony as security personell. He spend his first years after leaving the academy there. After an attack on some of the domes and the perceived failure on his side, he left security devision to join the team rebuilding a biosphere. Regaining purpose in this activity, he decided to join science devision, beginning to specialise in xenobiology doing research on alien pollinators. 

He's a nervous, introverted kinda guy. Relaxes if he fixates on something or finds someone who wants to actually listen to his ramblings. 

[Maybe I will expand of his backstory, it's not really flushed out yet] [I don't really have a specific year where I place his story, but it's somwhere around 2150/2160 maybe a bit later.] [Also I don't have a design for an assignment patch yet]

Heij! Reintroducing me: I'm yngwer - a hobbyist illustrator / digital artist. I mostly draw nature, plant and garden stuff 🌼 I'll probably draw some fanart - Star Trek, Disco Elysium, Twin Peaks, Re-Animator...

I took a longer break from doing art, but there was a little hole in my day to day life, so I decided to pick it up more regularly  Hope it can become a small habit again

This painting above is quite an old one - drew it for a monthly challenge, but I still like the colours

Hoping to get back to doing some more art (and for this, joining ArtFight!)

Here we go with my character David 🌼 He's just a gardener - no real backstory kind, cheery, likes wearing flowers in his hair, shares his harvest with the locals, sometimes gets lost in thoughts and stares dreamily in the air
