A lot of things happened in 2017 (and I put out a book!) but I did not update Tumblr and now it’s 2018 and I’m drawing things again, I saw this photo on Twitter and it looked like a drawing to me so I decided to make it one

Going to have new work online soon, but found this today and thought I'd share because I am thinking about soup these days: recipe for Latvian sorrel soup, my vegetarianized version. My younger cousin put together a recipe book for her sister's wedding a couple years ago and this was my contribution. (It's multilingual because I started writing in Latvian then realized one of the other people assembling the book and my cousin's husband don't read Latvian.)
