Fair warning that this is probably not going to have a consistent narrative thread... but I am very impressed with the artists that are making multi-page comics and fully developed languages!!! I have already retconned a fair bit of my Martian/Eden conlang and reserve the right to draw Simon's injuries and scars differently every time depending on how I feel. BUT not being tied to a narrative means I can draw whatever random ideas I think are fun and interesting without worrying about it fitting a single plot. :P

On earth most animals aim to be symmetrical and so have an even amount of limbs. Reading that Rocky had five left me puzzled, obviously he's an alien, but was there precedent in nature for such a phenomenon? What was the point of five rather than 4 or 6? ...Then, I looked at my own hands and felt silly. Still, that connection made me happy.
