did they intend to give solas and rook three times the chemistry they gave solas and lavellan in the base inqusition game or am i witnessing the funniest possible thing bioware could've done

you know for all Naught Dog’s talk about the theme of the game being the cycle of revenge/violence i took it more as the theme being that of coping with grief of rather the inability to cooe with it that drives Abby and Ellie to the ends of the earth to kill the person who wronged them while at no point stopping to process the trauma they went through and focusing on their anger rather than talking about things with those closest to them

Like at no point does ellie stop to talk about joel’s death, she reminisces about the first game with Dina, but she never says hiw she is feeling she just focuses so much on the hunt for Abby that i honestly think it is the only thing stopping the sadness overwhelming her like she never slows down and everytime she comes close she needs to keep moving or that grief will destroy her and its like Joel said in the first game you struggle woth surviving but find something to fight for even if its the wrong thing like this thirst for revenge
