icon style change!!

well i’m officially done w/ m.arvel’s current comic canon because it’s just so wildly inaccurate and doing these brilliant characters such injustice that i can’t stomach it anymore. the things they have done to their characters and the way they have handled anything to do with h.ydra, are just lazy and ill-thought out. so this blog will not be acknowledging anything that has taken place recently in the comics or mcu that has to do with h.ydra, civil war ii, or the likes. 

“--alright,” she complies, taking deliberately slow steps away, “sorry. you’re right.”

“--but look at ‘em. they’ve got such big eyes. when’s the last time they got to play?”

“i am! you are! oh, we were going to make a big, formal announcement, but i couldn’t lie. just...act surprised when that happens.”

“--cravings?”

chin is lifted to minimize the height difference, barely reigned in smile fidgeting on her lips. it wasn’t often she got the chance to surprise him, so it was difficult not to be a bit smug about it when she did manage to do something for him for a change.

“fair enough. but i promise i haven’t been corrupted. much.”

“alright, if you’re absolutely sure,” winnie complies, though is unable to mask the underlying dubiousness is the way she murmurs her response. she’s never been good at covering her apprehension.

“considering you’re family, you already get a lifetime supply of cookies. and i’m offended you think anything i could say would scar you for life.”

“here, you take this bowl and mix while i finish frosting this row.”

“i can explain! there’s a totally reasonable explanation for that!”
