BikeCo Fox Fork Pro Tune  The Bike Company has developed the leading tune for the Fox fork platforms. BikeCo has been racing since 1999 and has storied history of suspension product development for the needs of both the world’s fastest MTB racers and consumer level riders. We took the latest Fox offerings and worked for over a year developing the optimum variety of tune packages to offer our clients. Our tune package addresses known issues of Compression, Rebound, Lubricity, Oiling, and Fitment. We have a variety of tune availability for each platform accounting for rider size, skill, aspiration, riding terrain, etc. Prior to any tune our staff will help you digest your individual needs to provide you with the best possible tune solution to accommodate your riding. A client who had his fork Pro Tuned remarked “This is why I bought the CTD to begin with – THIS is how it should feel.” One of the highlights of our tune package is how plush the initial stroke is (low speed compression) without compromising proper ramp rate or compression lockout (Trail/Descend, etc). By eliminating the initial sticktion on Fox forks we provide a suspension component that absorbs the small bumps without skipping in low speed compression, utilizes mid compression for mid sized terrain, and high speed compression for larger features. Don’t settle for unrefined suspension – our Pro Tune package will eliminate the “slappy” feel at high speed by allowing the fork to begin its stroke easier. Lubricity, Oiling and Fitment are all critical to the end performance range of our Pro Tune forks. With our proprietary lube we are able to build a fork that operates in ambient temperatures from freezing to over 100 degrees. Our modifications to the oiling system produce less strain on the lube oil allowing for typically double service intervals. Using a “Drop Test”, that is very familiar to motorcycle riders, BikeCo’s Pro Tune adjusts upper and lower fitment issues which lead to unnecessary friction. Many stock fork lowers will actually wedge onto the uppers (with seals removed) – BikeCo’s modifications produce an aligned product which the lowers literally slide right off.  At $225 for a BikeCo Pro Tune (price includes new seals as well) you are provided a custom spec’d and tuned fork built by our world class suspension techs. The inaugural races of the new Enduro World Series have just been announces. The locations are limited to four countries and two continents, but will be more inclusive as the format and series pick up steam. What do you really need to know about this particular race series? It’s organized without any involvement of the UCI. The cycling organization dropped the ball and refused to formulate rules for this popular new format so former employees and event organizers around the world took matters into their own hands. The races have untimed mandatory climbs followed by long timed descents and it has a lot of riders excited. Want to participate? Head past the break for race dates and more details. EDINBURGH, UK – December 4, 2012 –The Enduro World Series, in association with the Enduro Mountain Bike Association (EMBA), will offer seven events taking place in Italy, France, Canada and the US between May and October of 2013.
