I see so many people talking about how you can really see how terrified she is of Lenore and what loose cannon Lenore will do now.

It's like everyone forgot what we just saw a few chapters earlier.

When Lenore messed up her plans before she was mildly annoyed and quite a bit amused about it

We have just been shown what Annabel Lee's greatest fear is, it is losing Lenore, losing her trust.

We already established that this is actually worse than dying for her

And does anyone remember how Annabel Lee was choking for air during her panic attack? When Ada confronted Annabel with her worst fear we also got a shot of Lenore's ghost pulling a ribbon tight on Annabel's throat

She is not terrified of what Lenore is going to do, she is terrified she might have lost Lenore for good with what happened. A feeling that to her feels like choking. It is no coincidence that all these scenes where she thinks Lenore is lost to her feature such an emphasis on her throat. There's one more scene where Annabel thought she lost Lenore for good.
