I'm convinced part of the reason why these people hate the fundraiser verifications is that it is something that doesn't involve them at all. You cannot trust anything that is not being organized by white predominantly English speakers and that is your own racist bias that is going to get Palestinians in Gaza killed. The other reason I am sure is that you also want to stop hearing about and stop listening to Palestinians asking for your help - I've already seen about ten people in the tags of those posts saying they've blocked all the Palestinian accounts asking for donations in their ask box.
