RACHEL: Quinn's words do her in and any hope and resolve Rachel had for holding it together crumbles when she turns. Because those words don't ring true for just now, or the summer together they've had so far, but truly speak for the past three years. Quinn's always been just there, and along with the tears tracking down her cheeks, Rachel feels silly for taking so long to see just that and what such support and care could mean and bring to her life.
She all but falls into the offered open arms, completely uncaring to any dampness and the fact that there's just a scant bit of terrycloth separating her chest to Quinn's as she presses in close. Rachel tucks her nose in along a pale neck and her lips drag against soft skin when she softly answers, "I know. Thank you."
QUINN: As soon as Rachel's pressed against her, Quinn's arms fold the little brunette in close. Oh, there is nothing on Earth like this feeling. Fingers curl into the fabric of her shirt, and her cheek comes to rest against a crown of dark hair. Muscles coil, hugging Rachel firmly. This is how she wanted to hold her before, to let her know that she had her, she wouldn't let her go. That she's safe here in the circle of Quinn's arms.
"Hey," she murmurs after a minute or so, one hand moving to pet the back of Rachel's head. "What's wrong, Rach?"
