First things first, he loves holding your hand. Honestly, he loves holding anything he can wrap his hand around your hand, your wrist, your forearm... if he can hold it, he will. It's just comforting to him. Half the time you don't even notice he's reached over and grabbed your hand again.
He'll absentmindedly trace little circles over the back of your hand with his thumb while the two of you are talking.
Sometimes he'll compare your hand to his just to admire the size difference. He always ends up smiling to himself.
If he sees you being good with kids, something in him just... melts. Watching you help a crying child, kneel down to talk to them, or laugh while playing with them makes him stop and think.
"...Damn... did I choose the wrong path?"
He would never bring up having children unless the two of you were in a stable place, financially secure, and you genuinely wanted them too. He'd never pressure you into something that big.
If having biological children wasn't possible, or if the two of you simply couldn't, he'd be more than happy to adopt. To him, family isn't about blood it's about choosing to love and care for someone every single day.
The same thing happens when he sees you with animals. The way they naturally trust you and how gentle you are with them makes him imagine a quieter, more peaceful life than the one he's living now.
If you were a Raider too, he'd always volunteer to be paired with you. Not because he thought you were weak... well, maybe just a little. But mostly because he simply wanted to be with you. If he had the choice, he'd pick you every single time.
On the rare occasions you couldn't be paired together, he'd keep in constant contact with you. The second he got a chance, he'd be asking questions.It isn't because he doesn't trust you. He just worries. As long as he knows where you are and that you're okay, he can finally relax.
The moment your mission is over, he's already waiting for you. If he spots you first, he'll walk right over like nothing happened.
If you were a Cleaner... ooof. The relationship is a lot harder. The two of you are always busy at different times. Whenever he's free, you're out on a job. Whenever you're free, he's busy with Raider work. It always feels like your schedules are working against you.
He still tries his best to keep in contact with you. Even if it's just a quick thing asking if you've eaten or made it back safely, he'll find a way to check in whenever he can.
When you do finally get a day together, he spoils you. Good food, your favorite places, buying you little things you point at he just wants you to enjoy yourself. The day is yours, and he'll happily do whatever you want.
...He also kind of stalks you just a little. He'll "happen" to be walking by your route
"Bundus... are you following me?"
"You've been behind me for the last twenty minutes."
"...That's a coincidence."
He'd never interfere with your work or get in your way. He just likes knowing you're nearby and that you're safe. If he can steal five minutes to see you during the day, he'll take it every time.
If you're just an ordinary civilian, he honestly likes it a lot more. He knows you're usually in the same place, living a normal life, and the chances of something happening to you are much lower. It gives him peace of mind.
That being said... it also drives him crazy sometimes. Even if you have a Vital Instrument, that doesn't automatically mean you know how to fight or defend yourself. He knows you're capable of handling yourself, but the thought of you getting caught in something you can't deal with still gets under his skin.
He'll casually teach you little things without making it obvious.
"If someone grabs your wrist, do this."
He trusts you. He just doesn't trust the rest of the world and that goes for both the cleaner or raider one.
If you're out shopping together, he automatically grabs the heavier bags before you even get the chance.
He remembers all your favorite snacks and quietly buys them whenever he sees them.
If you're reading or just zoning out, he'll quietly rest his head on your shoulder and stay there without saying a word.
Every morning he asks if you slept well. It's become part of his routine.
If you fall asleep on the couch, he'll carry you to bed instead of waking you up.
He'll randomly fix your hair or brush a piece of lint off your clothes without thinking.
He'll wait for you outside the bathroom, dressing room, or any store you're in. He's in no rush it comes with being older. And if you can't decide if you like what you grab he will give his opinion.. In a nice way but sometimes he glazes you cus he can't see you upset even if its just disappointing.
If you can't sleep, he stays awake with you. Even if the two of you are just sitting in silence, he'd rather be tired together than let you be awake alone.
If you're cooking, he'll lean against the counter and keep you company. He might not help much, but he'll happily chat while you make dinner.
Every now and then, his missing right arm crosses his mind. He's not really insecure about it—it just makes him pause sometimes. It's one of those thoughts that comes and goes without him dwelling on it.
Whenever you hug him first, especially if you wrap both of your arms around him, it means more than you realize. It reminds him that you aren't thinking about what's missing. You're just thinking about him.
Though without a doubt, he can and has lifted you up with just one arm. It doesn't even seem like he has to think about it. He can just pick you up and carry you wherever he needs to.
Even if you're heavier set, it doesn't change anything for him. He doesn't struggle or make a big deal out of it he just lifts you like it's the easiest thing in the world.
He sets a very high bar if you do break up (would never happen)
Sometimes you’re caught completely off guard because one second you're standing there, and the next you're being carried around.
