I think many people don't realize the weight that certain words have. Malicious comments, judgments, attacks, and all this constant pressure end up destroying a person little by little. And the worst part is that, while someone is suffering, there are always people treating it as entertainment, making jokes, creating theories, or trying to lessen the person's pain. This is one of the cruelest things about the internet today. People have lost the habit of having empathy.

That's why I wanted to leave my support for Vitória during this very difficult time. It must have been extremely difficult to show up, show your face, and talk about everything that's happening. Doing that requires an absurd amount of courage, especially when you know that thousands of people will watch, comment, and share. No one exposes themselves like that because they want attention. No one opens their heart like that when they're completely okay inside. Sometimes a person just reaches their limit and feels the need to let out everything they've been holding in for a long time.

I truly hope she can find peace amidst all of this. That she can breathe a little away from the pressure, away from the judgments, and away from all the negativity that social media can bring. Mental health is a serious matter, and often people only realize the gravity of the situation when it's too late. That's why it's so important to support someone while they're still trying to keep going.

I also hope she's surrounded by good people, people who welcome her, listen to her, hug her, and make her feel safe.
