I’m one of those that no matter how many times I do my face or I doll myself up, I still feel ugly. I found more insecurities in me then I like to disclose. No one is born ugly but for whatever reason somehow society made us feel so unworthy of the words beautiful or gorgeous. We see runway shows and magazine covers tell us we do not fit in their requirements of beauty due to height and weight. How can I be strong enough to tell anyone to believe in themselves but turn to look in a mirror and see someone no deserving of the words that mean beauty. More heartbreaking, how do I turn to my daughter and tell her she’s the most gorgeous human being I’ve ever set eyes and feel so ugly within. I want to thank the men that love us when we can’t love ourselves. I want to thank god for blessing those who see everything within and never looking to what lies on the surface. I want to thank my amazing husband to be for never letting me feel like I am far from beautiful because he shows me he loves every minute he can.
