Colours and why I used them:
There is pink, purple, and blue in this flag: those are bi colours! Also pink is a colour of same and similar gender attraction. And purple represents numerous aspects in this flag!
Purple is a colour that stands for so many different beautiful things! It’s associated with sapphicism, bisexuality, and resilience. For my flag design, it means all three! The numerous shades of purple also creates more contrast :))

~ Bykkic ~ Pronounced “bye-kick” ! Combination of bi, dyke, sapphic! I did make a bi-sapphdyke flag a while back, but this one is even more concise in wording, and I used edits of colours from all three flags! (warm pink from the sapphic flag, purple from the bisexual flag, reddish magenta from both of these versions of the bi dyke flag I love!)

I don’t take requests but I take recommendations! Basically, I love getting ideas for new flags to make, so if anyone has a flag idea they want, feel free to send it my way! If I like the idea, I just might do it! There’s def a higher chance I’ll make it, if it’s a bi and/or sapphic flag idea lol
I’m not super familiar with the chevron queer flag! I searched it up for reference for this, and I wasn’t a 100% sure how you wanted the bi flag with the queer chevron, so here are a couple different versions! Hope you like it!
This is not to discourage anyone from using the most commonly used bi butch and bi femme flags, but rather, I am personally uncomfortable with some views from the creator of those flags and I wanted to make butch and femme flags that weren’t “blue is masculine and pink is feminine”, and with the bi butch sun and moon mace, and the bi femme moon lipgloss symbols I made!
(the symbols on all my flags are with various free to use images from png sites!)
My beloved bi butch bestie @bisexual-coala advised me while making the bi butch flag! especially the brown colour for butches, and I wanted to use purple and a strong shade of red for the bi femme flags!

it’s been nagging at my mind for a quite while now that I had so much… pink in my bi woman and bi feminist flags. I did not use it to represent womanhood or feminism, but because it exists in the bi flag- notably, to represent same and similar gender attraction. I took it a ran with it, even when other colours fit more. So here is my revamp of colours that are more respectful for the given themes!
Pink is my favorite colour, I’m a bi femme, I love Barbie, I love Glimmer. I like to use pink when possible. But this clearly was not an instance when I should’ve. While there are no colours to represent any genders, since colours aren’t gendered, there are still colours to represent gender experiences, and solidarity! There are colour associations that we may embrace! :) To be honest, I see green as a colour for women, and yellow is a feminist colour, as is a colour for hope. Purple is a colour that stands for so so so much- bisexuality, womanhood, feminism (bc we should all be feminists, not just women!), sapphicness, femmes (I love the idea of purple being for femmes and orange being for butches!), and so much more! So I decided yellow will stay in the bi feminist flag, green in the bi woman flag, and both will incorporate purple!
I’d like to apologize if any of my woman and feminist flags have upheld gender roles. The whole “pink is for girls, blue is for boys” is suuuuch ancient rhetoric.
I hope that bi women and bi feminists feel represented and loved by my designs! And I am always open to constructive criticism and editing my past work! :)
