Bronzed! Shot at Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival 2014. Can’t wait for next week’s event.
Hot off the presses! My copies of the book showed up in the mail last night and they look amazing. Thanks to the good folks at blurbbooks for making it look great.

One of my all-time favorite videos from the 2013 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. EPMD's DJ Scratch killing it on the 1's and 2's.

BHF: 2007-2014
Every summer in Brooklyn for the past ten years, there's been a celebration. But it's not just any celebration - the Brooklyn Hip-hop Festival is a raucous, multi-faceted celebration of hip-hop in all its glory. There's food, education, discussion panels, poetry, and, of course, there's music. Up-and-comers share the stage with A-listers; veteran emcees wander through the crowd and appreciate the show as fans.
For seven of those years, I've made my pilgrimage to the BHF as a fan and as a photographer, and this book is where I've collected some of my favorite moments that I've documented over the years.
As you can imagine, I've amassed a large number of photographs over the past seven years, and this book is something I've been telling myself I would put together for quite some time. Friends (wassup, JF!) even nagged me to do it, but I've always ended up putting it off for one reason or another. This year, I finally said enough, and here it is.
As long as the good folks over at Brooklyn Bodega keep putting on the show, I intend to keep enjoying the celebration. In the meantime, the book is available for purchase in a premium-lustre soft-cover edition from Blurb. I just ordered a few copies for myself, and it would make me really happy if you picked one or two up as well.
Thanks in advance, and maybe I'll see you at the show.
