A while ago I got a giant box of absolutely random doll bodies and heads, it was a lot of fun to go through (I’m still not done) and I got a few things in there that I wanted, like the Mouscedes King I mentioned in my earlier post. The most unexpected thing in there, though, was this original Sindy from somewhere around the late 70′s to early 80′s, as far as I can tell. I have never come across a vintage doll and I was unexpectedly smitten despite this not usually being my thing at all.

She was beheaded but her body was also in the box. I cleaned her up and fixed her wobbly legs (to the best of my ability) and made her this outfit from a couple of fantastic vintage patterns from this Etsy store.

I love her…
