"What started out as a day at home experimenting with makeup has become my career aspiration and ultimately the love of my life,” says 19-year-old Louisiana Instagrammer Stephanie Fernandez (@stephanie_fernandez), who often acts as makeup artist, model and photographer for each of her makeup sessions. “I know my face and body better than anyone, so it is a very familiar canvas,” she explains.

Stephanie defines her makeup style as colorfully creepy. “The gory and creepy side of my style is influenced by my passion for horror movies and psychological thrillers,” she says. “Most of my makeup is also heavily influenced by music. I love to be able to create and see what I am hearing and feeling. I simply see it in my mind’s eye, and my hands do the rest.”

Stephanie’s dreams are as colorful and eclectic as her work. “I would love to do high-fashion makeup for NYC Fashion Week. I would love to have at least 100 art shows before I die. I would love to direct movies and creative direct music videos as well as open a studio to create SFX masks, canvas pieces and explore other media. I have no limits. My mind is constantly moving. I want to do it all.”

Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira invites spectators to step inside his latest artwork and explore a giant wooden maze at São Paulo Museum MAC. His largest installation to date, Transarquitetônica is a 70 meter (229.66 ft) interactive sculpture made of tapumes, a plywood material traditionally used for cheap housing in Brazil. As the piece’s name suggests, Oliveira’s work speaks to the concept of time and evolution. Spectators discover spaces of contrast, as certain areas reference today’s modern architecture while sprawling branches symbolize man’s first dwelling.

nasasaktan ako sa tuwing makikita ko ang nanay at tatay ko na hindi nagkakasundo, masakit bilang anak nila na makita sa isang araw na wala man lang silang isinasambit na mga salita , malayo sila sa isa't isa pero imbis na tumatag paunti-unti itong natitibag, sa tuwing nakikita kong naiiyak si mama gusto ko siyang yakapin, damayan, patahanin, kausapin pero wala akong magawa eh .. malayo siya .. ang hirap ng ganitong sitwasyon ito ang pinaka masakit para sa mga anak na tulad ko na makita na unti-unting nasasaktan ang mmga magulang nila , wala akong mapagsabihan na iba , may magagawa kaya ako ? ano ?at paano ? :(

MAGIC ? na kapag umiyak ka TATAAS ? nakakapanghinayang nga naman pero sa tingin mo may mararating ka kapag nagpatuloy pa ang kabulastugan ng apog mo ? wala diba ? ano ang kahihinatnan ng future mo ? NGANGA ! you're personality today is your personality for tomorrow kung hindi ka magbabago ngayon wala kang kakagisnan .. hindi mo pwedeng ipagpabukas ang mga bagay'o2 na pwede mo namang gawin ngayon .. lahat ng kilos ng tao ay kalkulado kumbaga ay tinitimbag at paminsan pa'y hinuhusgahan kaya hindi lahat ng oras nakadepende ka sa iba . dapat matuto ka habang bata ka pa . di ka pwedeng tumanda ng paurong . alam ko kung bakit ? sa panahon ngayon lalo na ang mga Pilipino , hinding hindi natin maiiwasan ang tinatawag natin na Crab Mentality .. aangat ka lang ng konti eh hahatakin ka kaagad pababa . kaya nga hanggat kaya pa nating umasenso sa mas maagang anahon .. gawin na .. magsipag tayo sa pag-aaral para sa kinabukasan may marating ka . :)
