BIG OC ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣

Remeber when I would tease more Robin content? Well it’s finally here! Over on discord, I have been hard at work reworking, rewriting, and redesigning Robin one final time so he can truly be a logical and perfect Fnaf OC! So without further ado, let’s introduce…

FINALIZED ROBIN

Why did Robin get a redesign?

His first design with the overalls were too lame. Everytime I look at kid character designs from specific time periods, overalls are usually the main atire so I swapped it for something that fits Robin. It also had to be changed story wise since Robin is poor, so naturally he’d wear some bland clothes and favor the few with the most unique design. On his SECOND redesign that was rather short lived and made via commission, he looked like a Gregory reskin. A fear of mine is having Robin be accused of being a Gregory reskin or copy so I wanted to change that as soon as possible.

I intend to make robin seem more “human” by giving him more flaws and responsibilities other than playing with/protecting Evan. So he now has a 2 year old sister to take care of and knowing his home life it isn’t easy. Speaking of his sister let’s meet her!

Why does Robin have a sister now?

Robin never had much going on for him in terms of his personal life. All he really had back then was just being around Evan 24/7 so I wanted to give Robin some responsibility of his own by having to take care of a baby sister. This also would expand robins family a bit and make him feel more “real” if that makes sense.

NEW TRAITS

Robin didn’t seem like a character to have flaws back then. The flaws he did have were also amped up by a thousand where he came off as an annoyance rather than a kid. So I started to give him specific interest and dislikes before changing his personality. Robin is no longer “Dumb” or “stupid” he is just VERY impulsive and acts without thinking. Though he isn’t smarter than Evan, since he has a shorter attention span.

HIS FLAWS

Time to dwell on robins flaws since he seemed too positive for my liking back then. So giving him flaws would be the best way to make him feel more realistic!

Flaw 1: He intentionally downplays Evan’s fears of animatronics. Robin LOVES robots and to be best friends with a person whose dad owns the best robot diner in town must be a dream come true! Unfortunately Evan can’t infodump on Robin due to trying avoid the place like the plague, and usually starts crying at the mere sight of them. Robin of course comforts him about it but over time he just grows more impatient and shifts the blame onto Evan for being afraid. Making his friend think HES the one being pathetic over nothing!

(Robin may not care about Evan’s fears but he never goes as far to abuse the opportunity to mess with him)

Flaw 2: Robin is a little s*xist . (I SAID A LITTLE) this is due to him only knowing 2 girls (his mom and sister) and having very little information about girls. He just assumes they like dolls, talking on the phone, shopping, and cooking. Ya know the stereotypical stuff! Which put him in the “boys are better than girls” mindset. However he will be quick to change his mind IF he met a girl who acts VERY differently than he expected then this mindset might change. (He leaves this phase as he grows older)

Flaw 3: he picks on Elizabeth. Why? Becuase it’s funny! Ever since they met Robin has had this one sided hatred for her without any true reason. He likes pranking her by putting mud or fake spiders in her hair to freak her out or just being rude to her. Not as bad as Micheal’s treatment towards Evan but it still isn’t good! Whenever he is over at the afton household one of her toys ALWAYS goes missing and ends up being returned in a worse condition. This is because Robin lets Layla take her toys and only gives them back if she breaks them. Evan steps in a lot but 80% of his “jokes” on Elizabeth happen whenever Evan isn’t looking/around.

HIS RELATIONSHIPS

ROBIN & MICHEAL :Micheal sees Robin as an annoying little shit who gets in the way too much. He’s shocked that the crybaby even has a single friend but he isn’t surprised that the single friend is the most annoying person in existence!

Robin hates Micheal more than Evan does. As an older brother, Robin doesn’t know why Mike torments Evan! He knows that Mike is the reason why his friend is so sad and scared of everything and he hates it! He sees his mother in Micheal and that’s NOT a good thing. Robin isn’t afraid to fight Micheal, even if he looses 90% of the time.

ROBIN & ELIZABETH

I already explained it above so what’s the point of typing it here lmao. But Elizabeth hates Robin and wishes that he moves away. (To another planet)

ROBIN & EVAN

they’ve been best friend since they were 7. They both give each other something they weren’t receiving at home! Reassurance, attention, respect, and communication. In universe, they’ve only had feelings for one another a year before the bite happens. Robin loves hugging and staring at Evan, he wouldn’t want to admit his feelings but he just wishes there was a way to do that in a way that wasn’t confessing.

Evan is aware of his feelings for Robin but buried it deep down and tries to hide it becuase of how the 80s are “gay is bad” so Evan kept his mouth shut when it came to his feelings. Though he’s bad at it, they hold hands, compliment each other frequently, and go on long walks. But Evan consistently enforces himself “we are just GOOD FRIENDS” in his head and can only hope that Robin doesn’t feel the same way for him.

ROBIN & WILLIAM

Robin is a fan of Williams work. Not the murder stuff but the animatronic mascots! He constantly tries to ask William questions about the animatronics and to get him to build sci fi characters or animatronics with laser guns! William liked to have someone boost his ego and see him positively but…Robin is SO ANNOYING! His little sister trashes the diner everytime she’s present, he annoys the other customers, and picks fights with 2/3 of his children! William has considered banning Evan from being with Robin all together but doesn’t think it’s worth the effort, Robin likely wouldn’t listen anyways. He already ignored the “EMPLOYEES ONLY” signs at fredbears.

Fun fact: William INTENDED to k*ll Robin and Layla but after the bite happened he never saw either of them again!

WHAT IF ROBIN AND LAYLA DIED?

Robin and Layla would die at circus babies in an ALTERNATE AU. After Elizabeth ran off to see circus baby, Evan can’t find her and asks Robin to help him. Robin carries Layla around the building as he searches for the little afton but ends up in the Funtime auditorium with Funtime Freddy! Seeing that two children were alone and SUPER close together, his scooper impaled through both Robin and Layla and pulled them inside! With the two being killed instantly, Robin goes on to possess Funtime Freddy with Layla possessing Bon Bon with her small amount of remnant.

WHAT MAKES ROBIN SPECIAL?

There aren’t many Fnaf 4 ocs but when there are they are usually in 2 categories. Micheal afton being shipped with some pretty colorful girl OR a personal take on one of the masked tormentors. I have hardly seen any ocs be paired with Evan or Elizabeth in a shipping and non shipping way! (Probably a few) sure we have so many canon child characters to take the role, but I thought it would be more fun to just make a whole new character to do it instead! It also feels more devastating than making Cassidy his friend because Evan will truly never see Robin again after he died, making the loss for both of them far more impactful.

WHATS NEXT?

Blossom isn’t too far off from her canon counterpart, however her devotion to being seen as a leader is stronger.

Her time as a superhero made blossom believe that she’s got to take the lead in things more often, not just to her team. Not out of vanity (usually) but because she hates letting people down or allowing disorder to happen. She spends so much of her free time saving the day that she “grew up” mentally, doing things to seem mature and be prepared for the next course of action. This may be good for fighting crime but not very much for when she gets to act her age!

She is also aware of her huge temper, trying to dabble into being “childish” by playing dress up or playing to keep herself calm. Though she is VERY hard to anger by normal means, what blossom hates is not being taken seriously or being underestimated. Unfortunately in a world with plenty of older and more experienced superheroes, it’s easy for some to look down on her (figuratively and literally). So if she isn’t treated as an equal, she will **firmly** remind you on why she’s the leader.

Once she’s finished, she’ll let you know there’s no hard feelings by helping you recover ❤️

She HATES when her authority isn’t taken seriously or threatened. These are two prime examples but she also frequently gets into arguments with buttercup about it in episodes. Speaking of buttercup, she can never understand her! Half of the time they get along but there are times where she just can’t stand her!!

BUBBLES

Bubbles isn’t too far from canon either.

Bubbles is very kind, she is very nice, and she is VERY caring. She never lets her crime fighting life style get in the way of her regular childhood which is why she’s so happy all the time! Bubbles is the powerpuff girl that any villain can change, not immediately but eventually! (No matter how much she has to kick them in the head!) Bubbles isn’t as talkative unless she’s directly spoken to or has a solid idea on what she wants to say, she’s far from shy though! Lots of superheroes aren’t truly open with their emotions on the battlefield but bubbles is! She isn’t shy to talk about her feelings or showcase them! Unfortunately, bubbles has her own problems too! People often mistake her kindness as “baby behavior” and infantize her because of it. It makes her angry…REALLY angry. She’ll try to be nice about it and remind folk that she can handle the same amount of action as her sisters, but if that dosent work…you’re not gonna like it when she’s hardcore.

Bubbles’s temper is like an on and off switch. She’ll go from a giggle mode to a blood lusted the moment her kindness is taken for granted (or if her sisters are in danger). She stays calm by talking to octi or playing with others, she’s never truly calm but rather…bubbly. Bubbles is favored by blossom and buttercup and she knows this. Although, she isn’t happy about it since she KNOWS there’s tension between the two that she wishes they could resolve by talking to one another. Sometimes she fears that they won’t be sisters anymore if they can’t get along..!

BUTTERCUP

She isn’t too far off from canon either. Just with some tweaked features like her sisters!

Buttercup is VERY tomboyish and adventurous. If it means she gets to let loose, she’s ready for it! She’s usually seen as the “angry” powerpuff girl and it isn’t too far from the truth. She prefers to let her fist do the talking because whenever she says something, there’s a chance it comes out meaner than she expected. Born with her own anger issues, she’s been using crime fighting as an outlet for her aggression to avoid hurting friends and family by accident. Of course she knows the whole moral compass that comes with being a hero, but deep down she fears that she isn’t living up to it. Buttercup is VERY defensive and protective, ready to defend herself or others with violence at the drop of a hat. She can always sense sarcasm or irritation just by the way someone is talking to her and you bet that she’ll be ready with an even meaner response!

“I’m too young for crime fighting? Lemme punch you and you can tell me if that felt ToO yOuNg!”

Most villains that fight buttercup often ending up fearing her more than her sisters due to how ruthless she is, flinching every-time she makes a movement around them. She tends to copy methods from her favorite super heroes (Batman) and use them whenever she thinks is necessary. Out of all 3 powerpuffs, buttercup is the most paranoid and insecure. Deep down, she thinks blossom is trying to get her disowned not just from the team but from the family as well! She has a DEEP rooted hatred and envy towards blossom for her leadership skills and blames her for what she is. Ever since she got her blanket taken away, buttercup has slowly been getting twisted thoughts of violence about blossom that she wishes to keep away. She envies bubbles for her excellent emotional intelligence and skill and wishes she could showcase her emotions the way she does! It also explains why she’s most protective of her.

When buttercup gets angry, she tries to grab onto something and squeeze it to avoid lashing out. In her free time, she often does things with her hands to keep busy. Like gaming or playing sports!

The girls aren’t human, so monster meat is good nutrition for them. (Blossom prefers eating cooked giant squid monsters tho)

Buttercup is a sailor mouth, only saying “crap” when her sisters are around. But if she’s alone….oh boy you’d hate to hear her when she’s mad!

All 3 powerpuff girls get physical when they’re angry. Unlike Superman, they don’t really understand or know how much to limit their strength.

When the girls are angry, their hair ignites into flames and shoot up as they shout.

Buttercup is allergic to buttercups (flowers)

The girls aren’t famous outside of Townsville, so on the rare times they leave to fight evil interactions with other heroes aren’t always pleasant.

Robin look how cute these kids are!! They’re in uniform like us!!”

“superboy we’re on a mission, We don’t have time to play dress up with cosplayers!!” (Their first time meeting)

“I suppose this means you ALWAYS look stupid then.”

They do not know they can beat trigon and neither does anybody else.

INFO: basically the girls can heart trigon due being made /born from a source that’s the opposite of his own (they’re love and he’s Evil energy) Don’t think this makes them OP, I just think it’s funny that Superman can’t beat trigon but the powerpuff girls can. While the girls can’t beat Superman lol

The ppg have always been associated with hearts in EVERY continuity/universe which is also a symbol of love which further backs this headcanon up.

“People tell us we’re not ready to be heroes yet they let HIM on the justice league???”

He still has his backstory with the professor. But I like to imagine he was trained by the professor and was a decent lab assistant before being exposed to chemical X. Unlike the girls, he didn’t have sugar spice and everything nice to balance chemical X out so more of his negative emotions took over. (Yes he still pushed the professor . He was trained but he’s still an animal)

Basically the powerpuff girls but with my own takes and additions to the original series. Now this is NOT a dark or “realistic” AU, the episodes still happen the EXACT same way they do.

The girls’s backstory: Chemical X is a space virus. It crashed onto earth into the form of a meteor but the professor collected it and drained its fluids.Does this mean the girls are carriers of a space virus? Yes. It’s responsible for their mutations! Round heads, short bumped noses, no pinkies, and giant eyes. Are the girls contiguous? Yes. But ONLY if chemical X is digested or exposed to you physically like in the show! Sugar, spice, and everything nice balanced out chemical X so it explains why the girls aren’t zombies or whatever.

-Buttercup has sharp teeth due to shredded glass falling into the mix

- Bubbles has blue freckles cuz they look like bubbles!

Biology headcanon: Due to being made out of sugar and spices, sugar raises their blood and glucose levels 10x the normal amount it does to normal humans. Filling their body with endorphins, they are quick to grow addicted and act irrationally/violent when they don’t retrieve more. (Ex: Candy is dandy)

World lore: The city of Townsville isn’t too different from the series but in my AU it’s located on the coast of Oregon and isn’t particularly popular. So most heroes don’t go there which is why it had so much crime before the girls were born, when they born crime was less rampant but still do a degree where the trio are very busy. My AU of the ppg exist within an alternate universe of DCAMU. How? Basically, after the flashpoint in apocalypse war it splits the off into two universes.

My AU (a continued universe of DCAMU where everything’s been reset and back to normal. Along with the powerpuff girls existing in this world)

And tomorrow verse being a separated reality.

“Oh so this means the girls met Superman right?!” Unfortunately not yet. The girls aren’t really known outside of Townsville, although merchandise is REALLY popular overseas it gave the idea that the powerpuff girls were just toy/cartoon characters rather than real people! It doesn’t help that the professor is really overprotective of the girls. After hearing what kind of villains the justice league and titans face, he dosent usually allow the girls to fight crime outside of Townsville unless it’s an absolute emergency.

(I’d say this universe has has none of the apocalypse war Dcamu movies happening but the supersons movie takes place before Batman vs Robin. The point in time the au takes place is after Judas contract, the girls only being alive for two years. They were born at the age of 4 and are currently five.)

Yes the girls have been through a movie and 6 seasons within a year. I imagine the ppg dc comics happening in between “episodes”.

MISC LORE

- “Everything nice” is just the world’s positive energy.

- mojo jojo is a gorilla. Other than that, nothing too major has been changed about him. Although he is stronger than his canon counterpart (physically). He also wants and tries to kill the powerpuff girls rather than leave them captured. Whenever he does capture them, it’s only temporary until he builds something strong enough to kill them. (He does not succeed)

- the scrapped episode “joker comes to Townsville” happens in this au. Unfortunately the ppg didn’t get to meet Batman YET

- They will eventually team up with the supersons. Though don’t expect it to be permanent!

- ONLY people in Townsville can hear the narrator. Once you leave, you can no longer hear him.

- They’re being surveyed by someone (🦇) mainly due to being eerily close to a certain kryptonian in power.

- They will meet the justice league eventually.
