Learning to be gentle with myself, after a really busy and hectic few weeks.

I don’t have to do absolutely everything everyday. Just as long as I am making positive choices, that’s all I need.

I used to try and cram things into every waking hour and wondered why I was so exhausted all the time! It’s such a simple change but it’s making a lot of difference.

I felt calm this morning.

Which sounds so small but I don’t think I’ve felt like that naturally in years. It was wonderful. I drifted off back to sleep, and when I woke up again I didn’t beat myself up over “wasting the morning” like I would usually.

I’m excited to feel like this more often.
