so i may have done a silly and instead of writing my rewrite (its all planned in my head i just havent written it ;w;) i've started writing a fanganronpa, and im wondering if it would be appropriate to post about it here? i suppose it is my blog and i can do what i want, and it is definitely an extension of the AU i've written to include V3 as well...

yknow i've thought more about it and i feel like hajime is filled with so much guilt and doubt that i could totally see him putting himself and carefully reconstructed alter ego's of his classmates in the nwp again just to see if he could change the outcome by shifting a few things

like idk what in game explanation theyre gonna have for 2x2 (if any) but i feel like this works for now

#i stand by what i said about hiyoko #i understand that hiyoko and fuyuhiko were very similar characters and having two of them seemed kind of redundant but #fuyuhiko got his chance in the sun and hiyoko is fucking funny!!#i also stand by what i said about mikan and teruteru but only because theyre really poorly handled characters imo #if 2x2 was being written by someone else i might feel differently

i didn't really understand the SCOPE of this project when i first started, and it has been extremely difficult to put my thoughts together in a coherent way. in order to rewrite DR3 i've had to change certain details about the first two games AND i got overzealous and started rewriting V3 on top of it all (functionally being danganronpa 4)

and because i'm so good at starting projects (but not so great at finishing them) i also started writing my OWN fanganronpa set in the same universe but in an ACTUAL honest to god overseas branch because the reality TV show Traitors made me realize USA danganronpa could be fire >~< AHHHH

#cursed to have incredible ideas and also ADHD #i want to write cool thing but i also have no motivation to actually write the cool thing #i just want to think about it and gesture vaguely at it in hopes that people understand #like theyre in my head or something lmao

lol i forgot to mention here that nagito is NOT dead for realsies. i like to interpret his luck as someone who's just. really hard to kill. he wants to die please just let him die and if his death can mean something thats all he could ever ask for but he CAN'T DIE. he wakes up from nwp (2 electric boogaloo) and sees that the only survivors are the people he tried to KILL and he just laughs maniacally. the only person who gets the joke is hajime.

#hiyoko's character arc was just cut too short and she was just tossed aside unceremoniously as though the whole chapter wasnt about her #so maybe theyll fix that #idrc about mikans narrative they can do whatever they want with that #and teruteru possibly not dying first pisses me off because no amount of character development will change him from being a pervert freak #i really have no idea how they plan to adapt these characters to a modern media landscape but we'll see

i will be posting more about my "danganronpa 3 but good" au but ive been taking a brief intermission to be REALLY into cookie run kingdom right now... that one person who drew the "baking my comatose bf into a cookie cuz i miss him" meme with rockstar cookie reawakened my love for these little guys, and now i have ANOTHER freak ???? i havent finished v3 but i kept thinking of kokichi when shadow milk cookie... shadow milk cookie is just if kokichi was an actual threat :)

Izuru and Nagito secretly keep a "Kill Munakata Meter" that they update whenever Makoto talks to them about work. Occasionally it goes down, but usually it increases.

(The "Kill Sakakura Meter" has been sitting high for a while; he's lucky he hasn't interacted with Makoto in a while, or it would pretty much be over for him.)

If the "Kill Munakata Meter" ever does get too high, they'll send some coded message to Kyoko letting her know it's about to happen and kinda asking if it will inconvenience her at all.

Something like, "Have you ever thought about bleaching your hair white? And if so, do you anticipate you'll need tips?" (Translation: Do you need Munakata for anything, or expect to need him in the near future?)

She might respond, "I don't need help bleaching my hair, but if you're thinking about using the bleach, I would reconsider. It can make unintended stains. I'll set a time to discuss alternatives." Or she might respond, "I don't need help bleaching my hair. And if you're going to be using the bleach, remember to wear gloves and avoid spills."

confession time!! SDR2 is my favorite but when i first started playing it i couldnt fucking stand those bitches!!! I thought the cast was less immediately interesting and i'm SO glad I stuck it out because now im obsessed. i love them. they're all my blorbos even the worst ones.
