your art and, the way you have with words and how you treat the grotesque really influenced my art when I was 15. I'm now an art major and I recently stumbled across your blog again after so much time and it has been interesting to see how those themes have prevailed in the work I still do

I am autistic and deal with anxiety and depression, and young me really felt like there was no way I could be a respectable artist in the long run, so seeing artists I really respected open up about these things ultimately inspired me to keep trying

Knowing my art influenced you, and that there is a residual trace that stuck with you all these years later, is truly a special thing. It feels like such an honor to be part of someone's artistic journey, no matter how small.
And, even more than that, I'm extremely happy to hear my openness could help you to continue truckin along, even if it wasn't easy. Sometimes, I think I yap too much. I think I'm too open, or that I'm coming off wrong. To hear that sharing my thoughts and struggles actually helped someone is more important to me than words can say. I'm so happy to hear that you've kept on striving for success and that you continue to chase your goals. Being an art major is no joke, I can't even imagine the work you put into getting where you are now, so that's really incredible. We're strangers, but I mean it when I say I'm happy you never stopped moving forward.
