What is this? NBADA is a low-stakes fanworks challenge focused on age difference ships surrounding basketball players: rookie/vet, player/coach, player/Their Retired GOAT, etc. Essentially, you create a fanwork that fits the Theme then post it to this collection, which will remain hidden until reveals on June 15 (American Father's Day 😎). Then we all get to feast! How are we defining age difference? I don't want to set a hard limit lest that cut off a ship that Fits The Vibe, but to attempt to define or guide The Vibe: there should in fact be a notable age difference, and that difference should in some way inform the dynamic of the ship. Whether that means there's a power imbalance, experience gap, hero worship, cradle robbing guilt, they just think it's hot, they don't really think about it like that but it's still a thing in their relationship, some other Thing — all valid. An example of what I think falls outside this challenge is something like LeBron/Redick. Like, yes, there is probably some sort of interesting dynamic going on there, but it's not an age difference thing, so probably not the right fit for this particular challenge.
