…
“Dude,” Corbyn’s voice filters out from the booth, “Just talk to her.”
Jonah shakes his head, “I don’t know what to say.”
“Anything would be better than all the staring,” Jack rolls his eyes, “Maybe; Hi, you like coffee, I love coffee, and I’m pretty much in love with you, so, maybe we could get some together sometime?”
Jonah smacks the side of Jack’s head, “Great idea, Jack, not creepy at all. I’ll just get right on that.”
“You should say something,” Daniel defends, “It’s getting ridiculous. I’m starting to get concerned if you pine any harder we’re just going to walk in on you making out in the studio one day.”
“Uh, guys?” Zach starts.
“Not you too,” Jonah groans, “Listen, I’ll figure it out. I just haven’t yet. She’s so pretty and smart and talented, and have you seen her notebooks?” His voice is pained, “I just want to listen to her read lyrics forever.”
“Bro,” Corbyn smirks, “I didn’t know you had it in you.”
“Had what?” Jonah looks so done with this conversation.
“Guys?” Zach tries again.
“Zach, shut up,” Corbyn puts his hand over Zach’s mouth, then nods at Jonah, “I didn’t know you could get so dumb over a girl.”
“She’s not any girl,” Jonah glances towards the glass separating you, your feet on the desk beside the control panel, and eyes glued to the journal in front of you, because you think you’re about to fall out of your chair.
Zach stomps on Corbyn’s foot. Corbyn howls, “Jesus, Zach. What?”
He points to the little red light glowing in the corner of the studio, “The mic’s on.”
Jonah blinks, turning fully to look at you, “Exactly how long has the mic been on?”
You press the button to turn on yours, feeling bold because there’s a wall between you and a whole conversation on his side validating the feelings you were beginning to think were just wild optimism on your part, “Since the last chorus.”
“So, you heard everything?” Jonah confirms.
You nod, “Pretty much.”
“And you didn’t run away?” He licks his lip.
“Nope,” You shake your head.
“So,” He grins, “Coffee sometime?”
“I’d like that a lot,” You blush.
“Good,” Jonah pushes his hand through his hair.
You spin a little in your chair, “Good.”
There’s a beat of silence, then Jack declares, “I am a genius, and I call best man at your wedding.”
“Hey!” Corbyn protests, shoving him, “I started it.”
Jonah evades them, striding out of the room, leaving them to their fight and offering you his hand, “How about now?”
“Now’s great,” You take it, and laugh at the antics of the boys behind you and the smirk of the one beside you.
Summer Fling (Part 2) ♡ Corbyn Besson Imagine
Title: Summer Fling
Pairing: Corbyn x Reader
Word Count: 304
Summary: You and Daniel were internet best friends before he was in Why Don’t We. You flew out to L.A. to hang out with him before you go off to college and, when you arrive, you meet all of his friends. You and Corbyn get along really well, and when it’s time for you to go back home, he has something to confess to you.
Warning(s): Another slow-burn type of series :)
A/N: So I guess people like this series ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lemme know if you guys want to see more of Summer Fling! “So, what do you think of the boys?” Daniel asked you.
You were unpacking in the guest room with Daniel sitting on the bed, watching you. You stuck a shirt in a drawer, then turned to him and said, “They seem nice. I feel like we’re going to get along good.” You turned away, sticking another shirt in a drawer. “Did, uh, did they like me?”
“Oh, yeah, they love you!” Daniel said. “They really think you’re going to live up for the hype I created for you.”
Your head swiveled around, eyebrows raised and a smirk drawn on your face. “You’ve been hyping me up?”
“He never stops,” a teasing voice came from the doorway. You and Daniel both turned to see Corbyn. “Y/N did this, Y/N said that, Y/N is the most amazing friend ever. Constantly blabbed on and on about how you’re the best person to ever exist.”
You looked back to Daniel, a brow raised. “Oh, really now? You been hypin’ me up?”
Daniel’s face burned red. “Corbyn’s over-exaggerating. I just told the boys why I thought we could all be great friends.”
Corbyn shook his head. “You’re a terrible liar, you know.”
You snorted, and Corbyn sent a grin your way.
“You know, if you two are just going to gang up on me, you guys can just leave!” Daniel laughed.
You looked over at Corbyn, a wicked grin crossing over your face. “It seems Daniel doesn’t want us around anymore. What do you say we go someplace we’re both wanted?”
Corbyn’s eyes held a mischevious kind of a sparkle. “I think that sounds like an amazing idea. Shall we?”
“We shall,” you said, linking arms with Corbyn and leaving the room.
“Good God, what have I started?” Daniel muttered to himself, shaking his head.
Basic Bad Boy (Part 2) ♡ Zach Herron Imagine
Title: Basic Bad Boy
Pairing: Bad Boy!Zach x Good Girl!Reader
Word Count: 640
Summary: Zach Herron is the bad boy, and you’re the goody-two-shoes.
Warning(s): Bad Boy Zach; some cussing; I guess this what people call a “slow-burn” fic?
A/N: So I guess people like this series ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lemme know if you guys want to see more of the BBB! If anyone would like to make a request, you can do so here: x. If you would like to be tagged in future installments of the BBB or in any other imagines, then you can go here: x
Part One | Part Two
You hated Zach Herron with every fiber in your being. The kid went out of his way to annoy you. Everywhere you turned, the kid was right behind you, a cloud of smoke engulfing him. It wasn’t just at school—the kid followed you everywhere. From the park to the little coffee shop you loved, you couldn’t turn around without seeing the damned bastard. You were surprised he hadn’t shown up in front of your house yet. You hated Zach Herron, and you wished for nothing more than for him to just disappear.
One of the few places that Zach Herron hadn’t tainted for you was a cozy bookstore that you worked at. It was one of those locally owned shops that was constantly on the verge of going out of business because the goddamned corporate world couldn’t keep their greedy, capitalistic noses out of anyone’s business. But you found solace in the bookstore, loving each and every one of its nooks and crannies, always finding a new adventure in the pages of a novel. You never thought you’d see the day that Zach Herron would come sauntering into a bookstore—primarily because you weren’t totally convinced that the damn kid could even read.
You were sitting behind the cash register, leafing through a magazine when you heard the bell above the door jingled. You glanced up as you heard the noise, and your heart fell to the pit of your stomach when you saw who had come in.
Of course he was here. Of course he was going to ruin the one place you still found happiness in. Of course he had to be a nosy asshole who couldn’t keep to himself.
You grit your teeth then spat out, “Hi, how can I help you?”
Zach Herron’s mouth stretched into a devilish grin. “G’morning, sweetheart. How are you on this fine day?”
“Just peachy,” you sneered. “Now, is there something I can help you with?”
“Oh, there are quite a few things you can help me with, sweetheart. Just let me know the time and place.”
“What the hell are you—” Your nose crinkled up in disgust when you realized what he was insinuating. “Oh my god, you’re repulsive!”
“Now, that’s not what you’re going to be saying later, baby girl,” he said with a wink. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” you said. “If you’re just here to pester me, please just get the fuck out!”
“Oh, c’mon, baby girl, don’t be like this.”
“Please, just fucking leave!”
“Excuse me, Y/N, is there a problem? Is this guy bothering you?” Your co-worker, Jack, had come to the front of the store. You figured he had heard you getting upset and had come to see what the issue is.”
Zach Herron glared at Jack. “There’s no problem here. Just move along and leave us be.”
“Um, excuse me, there is totally a problem here!” you interrupted.
Jack, being the sweetheart he is, took your word for it. “Sorry, but I’m going to have to ask you to leave, kid.”
Zach Herron rolled his eyes. “Oh, c’mon, I was just rilin’ her up!”
“NO, you were pissing me off!” you snapped.
“Don’t make this harder than it has to be, kid. Leave before I call the police,” Jack said.
Zach Herron grit his teeth and sent the most horrifying glare at Jack. “You’re going to regret this.”
“I doubt that.”
But Zach Herron said nothing else, stepping out of the store without a fight.
“What a jackass,” Jack muttered, shaking his head.
“You’re telling me,” you agreed. “Thanks for stepping in, by the way.”
“It was no problem, Y/N,” Jack said. “If you ever need any more help, don’t be afraid to ask for it.”
“I’ll keep that in mind. I’m probably going to need it.”

Murphy’s Law ♡ Jack Avery Imagine
Title: Murphy’s Law
Pairing: Jack x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 686
Summary: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. But, sometimes, it helps to have a great support system.
Warning(s): Family problems, isolating oneself from friends, little bit angsty then fluffy
A/N: Thank you so much for the request! If anyone else would like to request something, you can do so here: x
Murphy’s law states that “things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance”, or, as it’s more commonly known, “anything that can go wrong, will go wrong”. There were some adages that you just didn’t understand, but this one? God, there was nothing on this planet that you understood more. In recent months, everything seemed to be crumbling around you.
In the past two months, you’ve dealt with illnesses in the family, deaths in the family, fights with the family, and God knows what else. On top of that, you were a full-time student with exactly zero (0) days off. You never had a break to just stop and address the issues at hand. So, everything just kept piling on top of each other until you were staring straight at a mountain of problems that you couldn’t even begin to think of how to scale.
As everything started to come to a head, you found yourself isolating yourself from your boyfriend and your friends. You didn’t want to burden them with your issues. They didn’t deserve that. It was your problem, and it was your responsibility to handle it. Your friends didn’t need to have any part in any of it. It wasn’t their responsibility to deal with your shit. It was solely yours.
Most days, you were locked away in your room, on the phone with your parents as you got the latest update about your family situation. Most phone calls ended well enough. But others were...Well, to say the least, they ended with you and your parents trying to chew each other's heads off. To be fair, though, it was never either of your intent to pick a fight, but with everything that was happening, the smallest of things could set the other side off.
To say your friends were concerned about you would have been an understatement. They hardly ever saw you anymore and, when they did, you were so tense that they were terrified to say anything out of fear of you going off on them. You had become a force to be reckoned with in the worst way possible.
You never expected that you would have been confronted over your actions, though. You expected them to just leave you be, to let you wallow in your feelings. Never in a million years did you expect your boyfriend Jack to come into your apartment with the key you had given him. You almost cried when he came in, knocking lightly on your opened bedroom door.
“Hey, Y/N?” he asked softly.
You sniffled, having just got off the phone with your parents. “What do you want?”
You were lying on your bed, staring up at the ceiling. Jack climbed onto the bed, lying down beside you. “How’ve you been?”
“Honestly? A fucking mess.”
“You wanna talk about it?”
You rolled over on your side, cuddling up with Jack. “There’s just been so much shit going on at home. My papaw is in the hospital, my aunt is sick...I had to fly back home a couple weeks ago for a funeral...I can’t seem to get on the phone with Mom or Dad without a fight starting because literally everything’s turned to shit.”
Jack’s mouth fell open. “Why didn’t you tell me any of this?”
“I don’t know...You and everyone else had your own things going for you. I didn’t want to bring y’all down because my life’s falling to pieces.”
Jack ran his fingers through your hair. “Y/N, you know you can tell me anything. You don’t have to hide your negativity away from me.”
“I just feel bad about—”
“Don’t! There’s nothing to feel bad about. You can’t just keep all of this negativity to yourself. You need to vent and let it all out.” Jack then sat up. “Now, c’mon, let’s go get some ice cream and you can vent to me about everything.”
You sat up too, a weak smile crossing your face. “Damn, I’m really lucky to have someone like you in my life.”
“Damn right you are.”

Reflex ♡ Daniel Seavey Imagine
Title: Reflex
Pairing: Daniel x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 470
Summary: You and Daniel get in a fight, and it gets a little heated.
Warning(s): Argument, cussing
A/N: Thank you so much for the request! If anyone else would like to send a request, you can do so here: x
You couldn’t remember why you were fighting. You and Daniel had been going back and forth for what felt like hours, both of your stubbornness getting in the way of reason. You both wanted to be right so badly that you both were willing to put everything at risk. It was ridiculous, you and him both knew that, but in the moment, neither of you really gave a shit.
It all began when you and Daniel had gone out together. It had started off fine. You two had just gone out to the mall, wanting to get some holiday shopping done and spend some time together. As the day went on, Daniel swore up and down that every guy you guys encountered was trying to get with you. You didn’t see that, of course, and that’s how you ended up where you are now.
“I just don’t understand why you’re okay with other guys flirting with you!” Daniel shouted.
“You’re delusional!” You shouted back. “No one was flirting with me, and even if they were, I don’t see why it matters! I’m dating you and I would never do anything to jeopardize that!”
“Well, you’re doing a damn good job at that right now!”
“How in the actual fuck is this my fault, Daniel?! You’re the one who decided to throw a huge hissy fit about a couple of guys allegedly flirting with me! Something I didn’t even reciprocate, if it did actually happen!”
Daniel’s face burned red. “Are you saying that I’m lying?!”
“NO! You’re blowing everything out of proportion!” you said, rubbing your face with your hands. “Why are you even mad at me about this? If anything, you should be pissed at the guys you think were flirting with me!”
What happened next was a blur.
One of Daniel’s hands, which was previously balled into a fist, raised. The tension in the air was so thick, you found yourself shrieking and jerking yourself away from him.
Everything seemed to freeze. No one said anything. No one did anything.
“...Did you...Did you think I was gonna hit you?” Daniel asked quietly.
“I...It was a reflex...You were just so angry and I didn’t...I didn’t know what you were going to do in the moment.”
His face softened and he pulled you into his arms. “I’m so sorry,” he whispered against your hair. “I was just worried that you would leave me for someone better and I know that doesn’t excuse my behavior, but you’re just the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I don’t know what I’d do if you left.”
You rested your head on his chest, snaking your arms around his waist. “I could never leave you, Danny. I love you too much to do that.”
“I love you, too, angel.”
Magnetic Attraction ♡ Jonah Marais Imagine
Title: Magnetic Attraction
Pairing: Jonah x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 493
Summary: The boys are flirting with you and Jonah gets jealous.
Warning(s): Jealousy, silent treatment
A/N: Thank you so much for the request! If anyone would like to make a request, you can do so here: x
“Hey, Y/N?” Jack said.
You were currently curled up with Jonah on the couch, watching cheesy Hallmark movies. You lifted your head off Jonah’s chest, turning your head to look at Jack, who plopped down in an armchair not far from where you were sat. He wasn’t the only one who came in—Daniel, Corbyn, and Zach also came in and took a seat. Jonah’s head turned, too, a frown settling on his face.
“Yeah?” you asked.
“If nothing lasts forever, will you be my nothing?”
You snorted and shook your head at him. Jonah’s relaxed arm around your waist suddenly tightened, pulling you just a little bit closer to him.
“You’re so weird, Jack,” you said, resting your head back on Jonah’s chest.
A grin stretched across Corbyn’s face and he said, “Y/N, I’m new in town. Could I have directions to your apartment?”
“Corbyn, you know where I live?” You frowned.
Jack, Zach, and Daniel roared with laughter at your comment. Corbyn’s face burned red, but he laughed too.
“Alright, guys, that’s enough,” Jonah said.
You frowned, unsure of why he was so tense. Why was he so bothered by his friends interrupting your time together?
Daniel jumped in then, ignoring what Jonah said. “You remind me of a magnet, because you sure are attracting me over here!”
Before you could respond, Zach jumped in and said, “I got one! Kiss me if I’m wrong, but dinosaurs still exist, right?”
Jonah grit his teeth, before getting up from the couch and storming off. You called after him, then sent an apologetic look to the boys. You followed him into his room, where he was sat on his bed, avoiding looking at you.
“Jonah, what’s wrong?” you asked gently, sitting beside him.
He didn’t respond.
“Jonah, please just talk to me.”
Still, he said nothing.
You grabbed at his hands. “Don’t ignore me, JoJo. Tell me why you’re upset.”
All he did was huff and roll his eyes.
“Fine. Don’t talk to me then. I’ll just go back downstairs.”
You started to get up, but suddenly Jonah wrapped his arms around you, keeping you seated.
“Oh, so do you wanna talk now?”
He stared at you, saying nothing for a couple moments. Then, finally, he said, “I just hated that the boys were flirting with you and you weren’t telling them to stop.”
“They were flirting? I just thought they were being idiots,” you responded. “Trust me, if I had realized that’s what they were doing, I would’ve put an end to it.”
“And I know that! But they were ruining our day together and it was pissing me off, and I just...I don’t know. I overreacted.”
“Yeah, you did,” you agreed. “But, at least you acknowledge that so that you can grow from this. Now, can we please get back to cuddling?”
He grinned then kissed you gently. “God, I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
In Too Deep ♡ Zach Herron Imagine
Title: In Too Deep
Pairing: Zach x Jonah’s Ex!Reader
Word Count: 1,625
Summary: Jonah can’t understand how you’ve moved on so quickly
Warning(s): Angst Central!!!
A/N: Thank you so much for the request, @ramennoodlequeenilovefood ! I hope you don’t mind, but I modified your request just a lil! :) If anyone would like to request an imagine, you can do so here: x
You never meant for any of this to happen. You never wanted any of this to happen. Jonah was the love of your life—at least, you thought he was the love of your life. But when you saw him curled up against another girl, fingers intertwined, a peaceful smile on both of their faces, you knew that he didn’t love you as much as you loved him.
It was a quiet break up. There was no shouting. There wasn’t a fight. You couldn’t find the energy to be angry. You were only disappointed that Jonah was so insecure in his feelings that he felt that he couldn’t confide in you that he was unsure of your relationship. In the end, there was no shouting, or fighting, and nothing was broken. That is, nothing but your heart.
You left quietly. The boys didn’t even realize you had gone. They assumed you’d been busy, completely oblivious to the fact that your relationship had gone awry. You could never blame them, though, for not knowing what Jonah had done. They trusted him just as you once had. You loved them all, you really did, but you knew that after Jonah’s colossal fuck-up that you couldn’t be friends with them anymore. You’d only be constantly reminded of the heartache. So, you left their lives without them even realizing.
It was foolish, though, to think that they never would have noticed. As oblivious as they could be, they weren’t dumb. After days turned to weeks turned to months, they realized that you were never coming back. Jonah never told them why, when they had finally asked. All he ever said was that he fucked up, and that you were right to leave him. He couldn’t move on. He didn’t know how. He didn’t deserve to.
You could only wish that, one day, the boys would forget that you existed. It was a naïve wish, you would admit that much, but you didn’t want to hurt them like Jonah had hurt you. Leaving without a word was the only way to do so. If you said goodbye, it would be too hard...You just couldn’t stand to see their heartbroken faces.
You stopped going to the places they frequented. You unfollowed all of them on social media. You blocked their numbers. You didn’t want to be associated with them anymore—you couldn’t be associated with them anymore. But, even though you effectively cut them out of your life, you couldn’t stop the Limelights from guessing what happened to you.
From the moment you unfollowed the boys, they were dead set on trying to find out what happened to you. So, you decided to throw them a bone, help them get the hint.
After that, your social media went dark. No one heard from you for the longest time. It was like you’d dropped off the face of the earth. No one knew where you were. No one knew if you had left the city. No one knew what happened.
Until, of course, you were found.
You had met Jonah a long time ago in a small, quirky cafe. It had been months since you were there last, and you knew Jonah had never gone back since your break up. So, on a chilly morning, you went to the cafe and ordered your usual. You slid into a booth and took out your laptop, starting to work on a paper for one of your classes while you sipped your coffee.
The bell of the door jingled, and you instinctively glanced up. Your blood ran cold when you saw who had come inside. You ducked your head down, praying that he hadn’t seen you.
A few minutes passed, and you were still too scared to look up to see if he’d gone. Then—
“Hey, uh, is this seat taken?”
“Don’t. Please, don’t do this.” You didn’t look up. You couldn’t. “You’re only going to make this harder, Zach.”
He sat down anyways. “Why did you leave, Y/N? None of us know why. Jonah won’t tell us anything.”
“It’s between me and him.”
“Then tell me why you didn’t say bye to any of us.”
You didn’t say anything.
Zach took a deep breath. “We all miss you, Y/N. You were a huge part of our lives, and then you were just gone.”
“Just seeing you guys again would’ve killed me. I couldn’t be around any memory of Jonah. Not after what he did.”
“Well, what the hell did he do that was so bad?”
“He...He moved on.” You picked at your fingernails. “At some point, he just stopped loving me. I wasn’t wanted, so I left.”
Zach’s mouth fell open, then shut again.
You took the opportunity to duck out of there. You shut your laptop, shoving it into your bag, and started to get up. But Zach recovered quickly from his shock. He grabbed your hand, stopping you from getting up.
“What, Zach?” you asked, exasperated.
“I just...I just wanted you to know something.”
“What?”
He took a deep breath. “Jonah wasn’t...He wasn’t the only one to like you. I had the—I still have the biggest crush on you.”
“Zach...you can’t just say shit like that.” You got up, pulling your hand out of his. “It was nice seeing you again, it really was, but I can’t do this.”
And just like that, you were gone, praying that you would never see him again.
But, as luck would have it, you were destined to keep running into the damned kid. When you went to the park, he was there. When you went grocery shopping, he was there. Wherever you were, he was there. And slowly but surely, you started to open up to him.
You unblocked his number. You started texting him, talking to him. He became your friend once again, but you never addressed his confession in the cafe. He didn’t really care though. As selfish as it was, he loved having you in his life, away from all the other boys.
But neither of you were prepared for what would happen when you ran into the rest of the boys.
One day, you had met up with Zach at the park, going for a walk. As you walked, your hand slipped into his. It was innocent enough. Nothing could’ve gone wrong from that. Friends hold hands, right?
You thought that was the end of it.
You were wrong.
Because you had gone off social media, you didn’t see anything anyone posted about the boys. Zach, however, did. He sent you a screenshot of an Instagram post with a single message:
You need to come over. Now.
Your heart was racing as you sped over to the Why Don’t We house. You didn’t bother knocking when you got there, deciding that it was best if you just walked in.
Only Zach and Jonah were in the house. All of the other boys were elsewhere. You didn’t know where. You didn’t care.
Zach looked ashamed. Jonah looked pissed. You probably looked scared to death.
“Are you two together?” Jonah asked. He didn’t beat around the bush.
“I’ve already told you—” Zach started to say.
“No. I want to hear it from her.”
You all but scoffed. “We’re not together, Jonah. But I don’t see why it concerns you. You’re the one who ruined our relationship. You have no say in who I date.”
“He’s one of my best friends!” Jonah shouted. “And you two have been sneaking around, doing God knows what and—”
“And it doesn’t concern you! You forfeit the right to know what goes on in my life the moment you brought another girl into the equation!”
“But he’s my friend!”
“And you were my boyfriend!” you shouted back. Tears started to prick at your eyes. “But, fine, if you want to be protective of your relationships now, I’ll leave. You won’t ever hear from me again. Neither of you.” You took a laboured breath. “I’m done. I’m going to walk out and neither of you will have to deal with my ass again.”
You started to leave, but Jonah and Zach both shouted, “Wait!”
Your head whipped around, the tears freely falling. “WHAT?! What could you possibly want? Me to stay? Jonah, you know why I can’t do that. I loved you for the longest time—and I still do. But I can never forgive you. I can’t see you without my heart breaking. And Zach, I love you, I really do...But I’m not going to be the one who gets in between yours and Jonah’s friendship. The only thing I can do, is leave. I’m not coming back. This is the last you will ever see of me.”
“No, Y/N, please,” Zach begged.
“I’m sorry, but I’ve got to do what’s best for all of us. You’ll hate me for now, but one day, you’ll forget about me. And that’s fine. That’s what I want you to do. Just...Just don’t let me ruin your friendship.”
“Y/N—” Zach said.
“Goodbye. Have a nice life—and I really do mean that.”
You didn’t stay any longer. You got back in your car, sobbing, praying that one day everything could work out. Praying that one day, you could be with someone who loved you and not have to worry about ex-boyfriends. Praying that you could be happy again.
Maybe, if you prayed hard enough, it would all come true.
Maybe, if you prayed hard enough, everything would go back to the way it used to be.
Maybe, if you prayed hard enough, you could start all over and be with the one who loved you all along.
Voice of an Angel ♡ Corbyn Besson Imagine
Title: Voice of an Angel
Pairing: Corbyn x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 474
Summary: Corbyn is the ultimate hypeman
Warning(s): Posting a video of you w/o permission
A/N: Thank you so much for the request! If anyone would like to request an imagine, you can do so here: x
It wasn’t that you thought you were bad. It’s just—you didn’t think you were good. Certainly, you didn’t think you were as good as your boyfriend or his friends. You knew that you weren’t going to get famous because of it, and you definitely didn’t want to be a famous singer. You were content with being an average person that dated an above average person. Corbyn could have all the limelight in the world if it meant that you could sit back and watch it all happen. You would keep your singing to yourself, and he could perform in front of the crowds.
You never had the intention of letting Corbyn hear you sing. You loved the boy to death, but you knew he would be insistent that you share your “gift” with the world. He’d give up, eventually, after seeing how much you didn’t want to, but you just didn’t want to deal with telling him how much you hated attention. So, you kept it from him.
One day, you were in your home by yourself. You were expecting Corbyn to come over later, and you didn’t have anything to do while you waited for him. You had a piano in your home, so you decided that you would play it while you waited for him. You goofed off for a long time, but eventually started to play Demi Lovato’s Smoke and Mirrors. You found yourself singing as you played, totally not noticing when the door opened and shut, someone entering the room.
As you finished the song, you heard someone say, “Damn, girl, I didn’t know you could sing!”
Your head whipped around and there stood your boyfriend, his phone in his hand, looking like he had just recorded you.
“Corbyn!” you said. “Did you just record me singing??”
He grinned sheepishly, ducking his head as he typed something on his phone.
“Corbyn, answer me!” you pleaded.
He nodded, hitting something on his phone. You realized what he’d just done.
“Corbyn, if you posted that on your Instagram story, so help me God, I’ll end you.”
He didn’t say anything. Instead, he took off running as you chased him down. The two of you ran around the house, you hot on his heels. As you passed by the couch in the living room, you jumped, trying to tackle him. You fell down, landing on the couch with you on top.
“Let me see what you posted!” you said.
He unlocked his phone and showed you his Instagram story. Your heart melted almost immediately.
He captioned it: “Voice of an angel😍😇💖”
“...You’re off the hook because you’re such a sweetie pie.”
Corbyn beamed.
“...But if you do this again, I’ll kill you.”
He shook his head. “You wouldn’t do that. You love me too much.”
“Mmm, debatable.”
Take a Break ♡ Jack Avery Imagine
Title: Take a Break
Pairing: Jack x Daniel’s Sister!Reader
Word Count: 639
Summary: You’ve got a super important essay you need to write, and you’ve been neglecting all of your other needs. Jack doesn’t think this is healthy, so he takes matters into his own hands.
Warning(s): Neglect of personal needs
A/N: Y’all, this request is so relatable to what’s been going on in my life, no lie. 😂 If anyone would like to request an imagine, you can do so here: x
You were insane. Absolutely, positively, insane.
Okay, well, maybe that was a stretch. But you were certainly feeling your mental health slipping through your fingertips. You were Daniel’s sister, younger by a year, and was currently living with the Why Don’t We boys while you studied forensic psychology. They had been gracious enough to let you live with them for free so you didn’t have to shovel out massive amounts of money to pay for on-campus housing.
As generous as they were for helping with your housing situation, the boys could not, however, help you with your homework situation. You were taking a criminal justice class this semester and your professor had assigned a ten-page research paper that was worth thirty percent of your final grade. You couldn’t risk failing it, but your stupid ass had put it off until the week before it was due. You hadn’t even done any of the damned research for it yet!
So, any time that you didn’t need to be in class, you were locked away in your room, fingers glued to your keyboard, typing away like your entire future depended on it. You rarely spoke to anyone. You ate only when your stomach was hurting so bad that you couldn’t focus on working anymore. You only went to the bathroom if your bladder was absolutely going to burst if you held it in for another second. And taking a shower? Don’t even think about it!
Your efforts seemed to be working, though. You only had a page left of the damned paper, and a day left to do it. You were working your ass off trying to get it done, but you seemed to have hit a mental block. No coherent words were coming to mind. Everything you wrote was complete and other shit.
You screamed in frustration, not caring who could’ve heard you in that moment.
There was a knock on your door, then you heard it slowly open. You didn’t bother looking who it was. You needed to finish this damned paper. You didn’t have time for trivial things like conversation.
“You okay, Y/N?” the soft voice of Jack Avery asked.
You only screamed in frustration again.
“I’ll take that as a no,” he said. “What’s got you bothered?”
You spun around in your chair, rubbing your exhausted eyes. “I have this stupid paper that’s due tomorrow, and I’m on my last page, and I can’t even write a single sentence that makes sense!”
Jack fully entered the room, walking up to you. He grabbed you by the hands and pulled you up. “You need to take a break. Relax for a moment, reset, and then come back full force. You deserve it.”
“No, Jack, I don’t! I need to—”
“—take a break!” He pulled you over to your bed. “C’mon, you just need some Jack and Y/N cuddle time, and then you’ll be able to work better than ever.”
“Jack, please—”
“No! Cuddle with me, please. You’re scaring us all with how you’ve been treating yourself lately. Please, just take a moment for your health.”
You huffed, but climbed into bed. Jack laid down beside you, and wrapped his arms around your waist. Your head wrapped on his chest, and the gentle movement of his chest rising and falling as he breathed was enough to lull you to sleep. Your eyelids started to feel heavier and heavier, until they eventually fell shut.
There was silence for a really long time.
Then—
“Oh, Y/N,” Jack said, thinking you were asleep, “if only you realized how much I love you...”
A smile curled up on your lips and your last thought before you fell as was—damn, I really need to go on a date with this boy after I’m done with this dumb paper.

Twinkle Twinkle (Part 2) ♡ Zach Herron Imagine
Title: Twinkle Twinkle (Part 2)
Pairing: Zach x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 613
Summary: Zach Herron was going to regret the day he stole the hoodies you stole from him.
Warning(s): Clueless Zach is Clueless™
A/N: Thank you so much for the request, anon! Sorry it took so long to respond! If anyone else would like to request an imagine and wait literal months to have it be written, you can do so here: x
Part One | Part Two
When you first stole all of Zach’s hoodies, you were sneaky about it. You’d take a hoodie every once in a while and hide it in your closet until Zach forgot about its existence. But now? Now, Zach had poked a sleeping bear and you were planning on getting your sweet revenge.
You loved Zach, you really did, but sometimes that kid did not understand how women worked. If your girlfriend stole your hoodie, that meant it was her hoodie now. You couldn’t just take your girlfriend’s hoodies!
Who cared if Zach thought he was only taking back what was his? As far as you were concerned, the hoodies were yours!!
The only thing is, you wished you could’ve been as sneaky as you were about it the first time around. You wished you could’ve subtly stolen a few at a time until you rebuilt your collection of Zach’s hoodies. But, Zach didn’t deserve the sneakiness. No. He was going to learn that you weren’t someone to be messed with.
You questioned his friends and learned when he was going to be out of the house. Corbyn, who found the entire situation hilarious, texted you when he was gone to run an errand and you made a beeline for the house. He let you inside and told you had at least thirty minutes until Zach was back.
You entered his room and immediately began pulling hoodies out of his closet. That’s when you reached the part of your plan that hadn’t been thought through. You brought nothing to get all of these damned hoodies back to your apartment. So, you did the only rational thing you could think of.
You started putting them on.
Every.
Single.
One.
Of.
Them.
But, the more you put on, the more restricted your movements were. You weren’t about to give up, though. You were getting this hoodies back, even if it were going to kill you.
Things, however, just weren’t meant to be.
During this whole fiasco, you didn’t bother checking the time. You were so determined on pulling the next hoodie over your head that you didn’t realize nearly thirty minutes had passed.
Until, you heard a car door shut.
Your blood ran cold and a panic incited in your heart. You went barrelling out of the room, and tried to get down the stairs without falling.
That didn’t happen.
When you were nearly to the bottom, you tripped and slid down the last five or so steps. Because you were so top-heavy from wearing all of Zach’s hoodies, you couldn’t get back up.
So, there you laid, 30 pounds of hoodies on you, waiting to be found by your boyfriend.
You didn’t see him when he came in, but you certainly heard his laughter.
“You alright there, Y/N?” he asked, a teasing tone in his voice.
“Oh, go to hell.”
“You need some help?” he laughed. “...only if I get to keep all of these.”
“Nevermind then,” he said, stepping around you and starting to go upstairs.
“WAIT!” you shouted. “Let me keep, like, five!”
He snorted, but came back downstairs. He held out his hand and pulled you up. “How did you manage to get all of these on?”
“Perseverance.”
He laughed, again, and said, “Well, because of your perseverance, you can keep six.”
“ZACHARY HERRON, YOU’RE THE BEST!”
You tried to hug him, but couldn’t move your arms. He shook his head, smiling, and replied, “I know I am. After all, what other boyfriend would let you steal six of his hoodies?”
“A decent one. A great one would let me steal all of them.”
“Don’t push your luck,” he laughed.
I’m sorry but who gave you permission???
